Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
Does this settlement mean we actually see the back of Blumarble for good and all? If so, will this remove all traces of Dean Holdsworth and leave K.A totally in charge with no on else to blame....or has he negotiated a further loan with said third party? I realise the questions can't be answered right now, but.....

Sees the back of BM (if it happens) but seems to involve some form of further (smaller) loan. Then we have Heathcotes dispute going through courts and unpaid ex-players being mediated by PFA.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 2:09 pmDoes this settlement mean we actually see the back of Blumarble for good and all? I thought the Heathcoates issue was resolved last month.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 2:13 pmSees the back of BM (if it happens) but seems to involve some form of further (smaller) loan. No. Going through court. Ken paid £5000. Heathcotes claim they are owed over £200,000.DJBlu wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 2:16 pmI thought the Heathcoates issue was resolved last month.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 2:13 pmSees the back of BM (if it happens) but seems to involve some form of further (smaller) loan. Any creditor will now take the BM approach. Ken clearly doesn't pay his bills, unless you play hardball with him. Ridiculous way to run the club.

We have a red bar...
"Appears to be all done from the BluMarble side now.
Waiting on confirmation that the funds have cleared and we can get on with looking forward to the QPR game!"
Perhaps more interestingly long-term:
"The US interest hasn't gone away. I'm led to believe a solvent offer was made. What happens next, I don't know."

The 'solvent offer' bit has been redacted (from the BN blog)

Nixon c.3.30pm:
Hope that Ken may yet get fecit?Bolton. Blumarble are not the only debtors being sorted out today. Very interesting calls and deals being struck. Something bigger going on here.

Iles: "I'm hearing the money has now arrived in the accounts but there is still an issue with paperwork. Extremely confident that there will be no administration.
BUT - as a few of you will be aware if you use Twitter - it seems there may be more going on. I'm currently checking this all out."
Also just tweeted "Get the feeling this may be blogging into the night..."

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
So, a takeover? Or merely a consolidation of the debts?

Oh will I finally be able to send my draft tweet to Lee of birthday cake, waving man and several big purple aubergines??
Gah it's the hope that kills you. American Billionaire takeover, Ken gone, and a Premier League battle of the loaded Wanderers next year.

Funny innit. Ken has been so quick to discard the tyre-kickers; maybe it needed a call this close in order to open up the clam.Prufrock wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 4:12 pmOh will I finally be able to send my draft tweet to Lee of birthday cake, waving man and several big purple aubergines??

There's a sizeable element of careful-what-you-wish-for with takeovers, especially in this division. For every Wolves there's a Birmingham - in fact you could argue there's two Birminghams in that city, judging by the balls made of it by Villa's previous owners. Then there's Derby's spending and the revolving door on Forest's boardroom, and we haven't even left the Midlands yet.
I dunno. I dunno what I want our club to be. Obviously if it was Wolves Two then that'd be very nice and yes I'd be there with the big foam hands. But again, can anyone think of any geographically proximate examples of US billionaires, with involvement in US sport, buying English clubs? Went it well?

Iles says Michael James pitched in to help Ken out with the BM fee. Not ED.
