No more Mr Nice Guys is the battle cry we need now. No fight, no points. We have to go there determined to end our dismal run. Villa Park is destination one. Get amongst em Whites....

Isles posted something on Twitter about him that's shit from Everton "stealing the spotlight" from Jack Grealish.

Anyone thinking we will win is off their tits.
3-0 I think.
Let’s play formation bingo. I think he’ll go back to 4411; this weeks changes will be Wheaters and Hobbs back to centre half, Taylor in at full back, Buckley left, Donaldson shunted out right, Magennis back up top. Williams (play and pay less) keeps his spot and errrrrmmmmm...Luke Murphy back in!

That was my wildcard prediction. He’s not played for ages so he has moved up in my andranik stakes.

So who played bad enough last game to be dropped? Making changes has to have a reason surely. It was the soft (undefended) goal that did us. Ae that team not worth another shot?officer_dibble wrote: ↑Thu Nov 01, 2018 9:21 pmThat was my wildcard prediction. He’s not played for ages so he has moved up in my andranik stakes.

Not Williams no doubt. (Though to be fair he was fine last time).

He’s hit and miss. Probably more talented than Vela and Murphy but I’m struggling with the fuss Iles is trying to generate over him. Bog standard lower championship midfielder I reckon.
He actually has a tendency to dissapear from games from what I have seen. Might be a lack of experience or simply not as bothered because he is on loan.

I think he's a decent player. As you say miles off premiership class currently but he'd get in a few championship sides. I agree though that he's inconsistent - but his age excuses him of that.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 8:27 amHe’s hit and miss. Against Hull I thought he had an excellent game and was easily the pick of our midfield. Mind Vela was abysmal so you know...it wasn't hard. But still I thought Williams was excellent.

I wouldn't go as far as saying Vela was abysmal but he's definitely lost his way ... from whatever 'way' he had. He's turned into a major disappointment. I don't know if it's a confidence thing

It’s 100% confidence - he was vice captain at start of season - as soon as he was dropped to the bench his heads gone I think.
In a way I would rather we developed him than Williams...but he’s at the now or never point really if he is going to kick on and fulfill potential. Loves the club, it would be a shame if he became the victim of the fans ire like Nolan at the end of his time here.

He's also inclined to getting into spats with the lads on Twitter. Needs to focus on his football and work at grabbing games by the neck and driving us forward.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 10:16 amIt’s 100% confidence - he was vice captain at start of season - as soon as he was dropped to the bench his heads gone I think.
