You realise that Jews being disproportionately powerful was an anti-semitic trope used frequently by the Nazis and other far right groups?Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2019 3:04 pmIn terms of their population, yes. Just like there are a disproportionately large number of European White Male Nobel Prize Winners in Physics. There is a world of difference (a legal difference) between "Powerful" and "Too Powerful".
I think you need to calm down and review what you type.
Saying they are 'too disproportionately powerful' (as you did, but Nigel Farage did not) is as ridiculous and biased as saying that 'too many European White Males' have won the Nobel Prize for Physics.
It would appear you are closer to right wing tropism than Farage is.
And that the language used by Farage in that call - is by Jewish organisations considered to be offensive and anti-semitic...
It was one small example regardless of Farage behaving like someone with far right views anyway.

The trope is "too" disproportionate. Not just disproportionate.
Plus you are confusing Right Wing with 'Authoritarian'.
Being right-wing is neither a crime nor an offense.
As I've said in the past, you have a serious issue with logic and logicality.
Nigel Farage has populist, right wing views. He is not a fxcking Nazi. He is not a fascist. You however are a left-wing fascist.

The IHRA definition of anti-semitism...
Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective — such as, especially but not exclusively, the myth about a world Jewish conspiracy or of Jews controlling the media, economy, government or other societal institutions.
Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations.

Another definition of idiot could be those who continue to have the same arguments day in, day out yet somehow become increasingly agitated and resort to name calling when they always follow the same course.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2019 3:50 pmWikipedia wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2019 3:32 pm

Re: Independence Day.
Currently sitting in the pub waiting for my wife (headteacher) to finish work, and vote (she'll vote Green).
I've done a mini poll of locals (in the upmarket Greyhound Hotel)
4 have said they won't tell me.
1 told me to fxck off.
12 for Brexit Party.
1 for Green (making 2 in total)
1 for Labour.
1 for Lib Dem because they were for Remain but would usually vote Labour.
1 for Independent Union.
0 for Conservative, UKIP, Change UK, the independent Independent.

Re: Independence Day.
Is it mainly a Tory or Labour area where you are?
I've not bothered. My last vote has been ignored so I'm sulking!

Re: Independence Day.
Depends on how wide the area: I live in a Green supporting bastion (Cromford parish) in a Labour stronghold local ward (Wirksworth) in an overwhelmingly Tory local authority and parliamentary constituency (Derbyshire Dales) in a historically mainly Labour leftwing leaning County (Derbyshire).Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2019 7:24 pmIs it mainly a Tory or Labour area where you are?

Those who voted Brexit on the patio yesterday usually vote Labour with a few Tories among them.
East Midlands is Very Brexit. Dennis Skinner, old time Labour, ex-mining area Clay Cross, just up the road from me is almost 100% Brexit. Mention Remain in a pub in Heanor and get lynched.

"In an interview before Mrs May's resignation, Mr Juncker asked: "How could anybody else achieve what she couldn't?""
Well, that's an easy one to answer, Jean-claude. We ignore you totally as an irrelevance; we reject settling a 'divorce bill' before we even consider terms for a trade treaty; we say stuff your ultimatum about no renegotiation; and we leave with no deal on WTO terms.
We then watch You panic as you demand Eire puts up a hard border it refuses to countenance; we watch you squirm as France and Spain are denied entry to Our fishing grounds; we smile as your national governments are bombarded by demands from VW etc for uninterrupted access to UK markets; and we laugh when the unelected successors to unelected leaders of the EU are rejected by a new EU order.

Every credible prediction is that the impact will be far greater on our economy than the EU. Why would we want to do that to ourselves? You've previously said you don't care about the economic impact but a new PM, surely has to?
