I think your username sums him up perfectly.
On the plus side I may still win the sweep.

Re: Administration and recovery
Does Wheater going to Oldham mean the takeover may not be going ahead? He's one of the few out of contract players that's been hanging around, I thought, in the hope of a deal. Has he heard something or just given up?
Either way, if this game does go ahead it's another space we have to fill by 12 tomorrow

Re: Administration and recovery
For me its the opposite, it means that the takeover is near & that we have better lined up, possibly a CB who can actually run and one who can turn faster than a bus, also it shows the level that Wheater is at when he's being linked with Oldham, Salford & Kilmarnock.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 5:37 pmDoes Wheater going to Oldham mean the takeover may not be going ahead? Won't be missed IMO.
Re: Administration and recovery
Could be a double bluff by Wheater. Not signed yet. Gone to get another club interested hoping to push the take over on a bit.

Do you want an internet million quid bet on this?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 3:08 pmThis is wrong. Re: Administration and recovery
I must admit, I was bemused at Insanos certainty on this. EFL have said the game will go ahead. They made that statement knowing that there was a possibility that the takeover wouldn't be completed this week. Presumably the EFL insisted on a Plan B for Saturday like - "you'll play the kids then"Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 5:55 pmDo you want an internet million quid bet on this?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 3:08 pmThis is wrong. Re: Administration and recovery
Wheater leaving means one of three things, in my opinion.
1. Either he doubts the takeover will happen soon, or happen at all.
2. He's been offered a better contract than the one we've offered.
3. He's been told that he won't be offered a contract at our club.
I think 2 is the most likely, but that 1 is more likely than 3.

Re: Administration and recovery
Hopefully this feels like a bigger blow than it is. Or, more accurately, hopefully this isn’t as big a blow as it feels. Bloke left it a long long time before jumping. It’s a pity he’s gone as he bosses this division last time and scored a few too, but more importantly he was a big presence off the pitch.
Oh well. We goes again.

They made that statement as they were confident takeover would have been done yesterday or today at worst...Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 6:00 pmI must admit, I was bemused at Insanos certainty on this. Re: Administration and recovery
I think they've played the EFL with false promises. I think the EFL will be mightily fecked off if it doesn't happen.
They lost the chance for players to take anything on trust a long time ago. I wouldn't play if I were them.

Re: Administration and recovery
Given all the false starts and broken promises we've seen, I'd be amazed if the EFL took 'us' at our word that "oh it'll all be sorted by next Saturday" & didn't have us either provide something a bit more concrete or a plan B
You're right though - if we have messed them around, they're going to really kick our arse

Re: Administration and recovery
They made that statement on the back of a statement by the PFA that they were going to loan Shysters Inc £2million. As I've pointed out, the £2million is still in the PFA's bank account. Shysters Inc have not taken over club. EFL meanwhile have 'guaranteed' match Will Go Ahead. If the match is abandoned now, it will be the EFL who look like Billy Big Bollox, and not the real testicles who in descending order are : FV, DR &P, PFA, EFL.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 6:25 pmThey made that statement as they were confident takeover would have been done yesterday or today at worst...Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 6:00 pmI must admit, I was bemused at Insanos certainty on this.
