For whatever it's worth, I lend my support to the idea that for the purposes of declaring the winner, it should be the official club twitter announcement type job.

Nixon over on Twitter still refusing to accept he knows **** all about admin. Claims "a big attempt to get the players on the bus tomorrow" - follows it up with "think that would be the best way to put it"

At last the wait could be over. Takeover expected to be completed tomorrow. Seems like the final hurdle has been cleared.

The guy from Cowgill's (who Insane says is a Bolton fan) when questioned tonight about the announcement said "It’s an official statement from the admins to me. I wouldn’t tweet otherwise"

I think you'd have to be pretty slow/giddy to think we weren't heading for a more austere future. We've just being running up catastrophic losses for the past 3 years and the folks coming in have been coppering up for weeks to see if they can afford it. I'm fine with that!BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 8:16 pmOn Wheater Iles says terms offered at Bolton not good. Points to a more austere future. Yay!
Far fewer bankrolling chairmen down here. Our average attendance will be comfortably top 6 and double half the league. Even within our means we'll eventually get it right down here. Might take a few years mind.
