Re: Administration and recovery
The club administrators told Iles and Dearden it would be done this morning they put it on their twitters last night. There is no need for aggression. Everyone is simply waiting and hoping. People just want it done just like you. But getting angry at it isn’t going to make it happen. Don’t shoot the messenger. Or even those working right now to try and get it over the line.Bertie Wooster wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 7:44 pmRead your post back 'Mr know it all' it makes absolutely no sense, who is they ?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 7:40 pmGo outside take a walk and calm down. What I want to know is what is this "line" they are all trying to get over?
Is it T&C's?
(Anecdote Warning:
The most ridiculous, anal, fxcking business argument I ever came across was a proposal I'd sent to Network Rail. Nobody on either side had a single complaint about the proposal itself. Both sides wanted it done, them to get the work completed, us to get paid. Nobody argued about the price. Nobody argued about the timescales.
But both commercial departments and their arsehole 'Business Managers' insisted that their T&C's would rule...
This went on for months, until I got my team to do the actual work and then asked my oppo in NR to raise a PO, which he did. So we did the work and got paid without ever knowing whose fxcking T&C's we were working to. I got a bollocking for it as well, despite earning us over a quarter of a million profit in easy dosh...)
So what the fxck is the holdup?

Ah... I recall that. I shall put you in with me Nicholado and LeverEnd as joint winners. We can fight it out later when we're supporting Wanderers of Bolton City FC.CrazyHorse wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 8:07 pmTo be fair, I was a little bit late to the party but..Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 7:27 pmSorry, that's coz I've probably ballsed up. Re: Administration and recovery
Yeeesh. Bury off next week as well. They look fecked. Think it's back to finishing above 3 others.

I can't see them getting through this now. That's two league games (& presumably carabao cup too?).
A 23 team division and just 3 relegation spaces?

Re: Administration and recovery
Their Chairman's released a couple of statements this week absolutely slating the EFL.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 11:20 pmI can't see them getting through this now. That's two league games (& presumably carabao cup too?).

HMRC's winding up order was thrown out in under 30 seconds earlier this week and he's saying that the only thing holding them back now is the EFL. He's not a happy chap.
EDIT: This is tonight's statement from him.

Re: Administration and recovery
I feel sorry for the Bury fans - but maybe with an owner the calibre of Ste Dale, the EFL are waiting to check out the credibility of the £1.65m credit note.... maybe he got his mum/aunty to write it
The Whites Are Going Up 2021
Re: Administration and recovery
Seems as though the EFL are happy for Bury to put a youth team out as a 1st team - so assume that the same goes for us.
I also think (and very much hope) that todays game will go ahead.... its in the hands of our players now

Re: Administration and recovery
Aye, that's the impression I get - that the EFL just want to see if what Dale says stands much scrutiny. I guess that they expect it might not.

Should we all be putting dubbin on our boots and stretching our hamstrings?
