Let's not pretend the All Blacks team we played today weren't their best, they were. I thought Jack Goodhue was immense for them, but our lads' performance was awesome.
The energy levels for guys so big was amazing.

An incredible fact: But for the try we gifted them, "All Blacks Nil" would have been a World Cup result for them to take home. That's how good we were.

So, it's the Springboks we face in the final. Very even game today and the Welsh must be gutted to get so close. A very even game that could have gone either way. The Saffers closed Wales down and didn't allow them the free running wide passing game they do so well. Our own task if far from over. Yesterday was magnificent, but yesterday thus history. Only next week matters now, although our brilliant display will be remembered for a long time by rugby fans. We can lift that World Cup, COME ON YOU WHITES....

In which both sides were as poor as each other. Dreadful game. If our lot can't beat the Springboks after what they did to the All Blacks yesterday, then in the words of Brian Clough, "They want bloody shooting".

Big fan of Farrell and Ford being the playmaking pivot of the poncy southern version :D

Fair play today. Best of luck vs the 'Boks. Power vs Power.

Only one way to find out...

That's about where I am.

On the evidence of the two semis it oughta be a foregone.

Oughta.

So, All Blacks take the bronze beating Wales 40-7. A powerful display from them and makes you realise just how good our win against them was.was. Taking nothing for granted for tomorrow though, the Saffers are a phenomenal side.....but so are we.... :oyea:

Some great stories about, particularly their captain, but (jinx, kibosh etc) I don't see us losing unless we choke, and with the mentality from Jones through Farrell down, I don't see that. We're just better almost 1-15. Obviously finals can take people different ways but it feels like the whole Jones project has been building to this (in a good way).

Looking forward to seeing Rugby League royalty lift the posho's cup :D.

Making the final of the World Cup is no small achievement, especially after beating Australia and New Zealand on the way. We were just too very"English" today whilst the Saffers roasted us. We lose too many balls in the air and just never looked in it. Far too much hype and taking things for granted. No disgrace, but on the day, we just weren't good enough. Best team won.

Simply put, they wanted it more than us. The side that beat the All Blacks just didn't turn up.
