1-0 down at HT - a 17-year-old scored, but it wasn't ours.

Good game. Not much difference between the two sides. We need more threat in the final 3rd. Excellent debut so far from Hamilton with Emmanuel also having a good game on the right. Need more from Darcy and Graham but we are still in it.

At the risk of jinxing it, it sounds like we're well in this.

Longer-term - and it seems that's the way we must be looking - it sounds like a decent debut for Ethan Hamilton.

A Roberto Carlos bender that hits a post from 40 yards means nothing against a Moss Bank divot scuffler that goes in. Such is life. Such is Bolton....

Is that the fourth time we’ve not beaten that shite this season? Won’t miss them next year!

Aye. We've fallen a long way, but we know that; what makes it harder on a parochial scale is that we've fallen past others around us, and not just longstanding peers like Preston and Blackburn. I think this is only the third season we've ever been a division below Wigan; next year we'll be a class below Rochdale and maybe even Tranmere. It's hard to take but there's one local team name missing there which paints a darker alternative: Bury.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 4:47 pmIs that the fourth time we’ve not beaten that shite this season? Next season could well bring us games against Morecambe Salford and fecking barrow! It’s going to be a good journey back.

What did people expect? We have no midfield whilst Hamilton sounds like he had a good game we are so lacking in that area it’s not funny. In fairness we are a senior centre half short too.

Even after a long lifetime as a White, "You get nothing for hard luck, it's goals that count" etc, etc, make me puke. It's all true, but it still makes me sick...Time we had a spell of being on top...I'm truly, truly sick of losing....

Only ever seen us lose at San Spotty. Would have been there to see us lose again today but Genshaw made a horse's arse of the arrangementsofficer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 4:47 pmIs that the fourth time we’ve not beaten that shite this season? Won’t miss them next year!
