Brewer's Droop - Burton Albion (A), 7:45pm, Tuesday, 10/03/20

I'll probably be in the minority on this, but - white shirt, white shorts > white shirt, navy blue shorts.
You, Sam Allardyce and Don Revie, among others...

What I've taken from this is that I'm destined to manage England (before departing in disgrace).

Better game to watch, shame I'm not a neutral.

God knows why we're so bad at the back.

Their 1st equaliser is a joke. Players are static watching a ball drop to the player after Matthews fails to punch it clear.

Whoop, whoop! I've gone from droop to rock hard.

Sobre a terra, sobre o mar,
Às armas, às armas!
Pela Pátria lutar!
Contra os canhões marchar, marchar!

Still, wrong though. I'm not arsed about the socks but the shorts have to be navy.

My preference is white/blue/white but as in many arenas I long ago gave up trying to persuade everyone that I'm right. It gets tiresome when they won't listen. :D

A much better performance but, still can't score more than the opposition.

I see young Politic was in tears yesterday because he lost his man for their second goal.

I mean you'd rather he didn't lose the man but good to see he cares and a nice antidote to the ideas about "modern footballers".

I was a bit alarmed by that. What is the culture behind the scenes if a young lad makes a mistake (not even a blatant one) and is in tears?

Its nice to show he cares - if that is all it is - but its not a normal reaction to the circumstance.

Listened to Flitcrofts post match interview - I think I'd have more confidence in him as manager than Hill. He made sense, talked sense and whilst I'm sure is no magic answer at least didn't make me want to rip my ears off.

I can well believe there might be problems with the in-house culture under Hill, but I think as he came off the pitch Hill did make sure to put his arm round him.

Murphy and Emmanuel reacted quite strongly to him failing to track his man (the irony of that), and he's still in his first season as a professional, so I don't know if there's any more to it than him thinking he's let the side down.
