There's definitely a square peg/round hole interface somewhere.
If it's the same 3-4-1-2, presumably Jones at centre-back but then we have three right-footed centre-backs – I think Jones has played left-back before so playing him LCB would be the least overall squarepegging.
If it's a back four, it could be (R-L) Jones-Santos-Baptiste-Gordon or Hickman-Santos-Baptiste-Jones, with Gordon pushing on. Either way, it's then presumably a lopsided 4-4-2 with Crawford drifting in from the unoccupied wing.

I would imagine it’s still the same 3-4-1-2 (can’t see Evatt ditching it just yet) with Jones at RCB. Hickman gives us a bit more attacking intent on the right wing which is probably why he’s been drafted in but then Jones has looked our most assured defender so far in my opinion, hence why he stays in.
Anyway, can’t be much worse than last week can it?
I’ll go with 1-1 and a solid if unspectacular performance.

In light of selection, sneaky 1-2 to us. Double Ds upfront one each.

It'll definitely be Jones in a back three. I'm glad Hickman's been picked.

Iles: "Wanderers playing 4-2-3-1 - Hickman on the right side of the three"

Warning signs flashing here already. We look all at sea defensively as a team. And set pieces we look particularly wobbly on.
Going forwards though we do have a few more options and look a bit more balanced.

Blimey, this is a million times better already. Much more composure on the ball, Hickman brings tremendous energy, Fonz has started extremely well and overall we look comfortable with our system.

One thing about a 4-2-3-1 is it suits Darcy better - you imagine Hickman won't last the 90.

Which one, the one where he was offside or the one where he was Crawford?

Doubt Crawford will either.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 3:27 pmOne thing about a 4-2-3-1 is it suits Darcy better - you imagine Hickman won't last the 90.

Ha. That’s the problem with watching on your phone. They look identical at this resolution.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 3:27 pmWhich one, the one where he was offside or the one where he was Crawford?

Delfouneso looks a bit clumsy at times.

If we can get that left hand side working like the right hand side we are in business...

Hickman is playing really well I hope he’s ok. Fonz looks dangerous but also like he’s going to trip over his own feet all at the same time. Both full backs look far more comfortable today than in the previous system for me.

Crawford’s been disappointing. Happy with the rest of it - get Gordon overlapping or at least looking forwards!

What Fonz has is the confidence to run at people, which has been notably absent elsewhere previously. He runs hard, on and off the ball.
