Colchester seem really up for this. Has nobody told them it's only a friendly?

We're bringing on a 17-year-old.

Daydreaming about a Rioch-at-Chester comeback...

For all that pressure we've had 1 shot on target.
Really going to struggle if we can't get pressure on the goal.

We're jinxed. Familiar story, not half. The nearly men, that's us.

Still 100% behind Evatt, but this has to be an all time low for the club - lose at home to Forest Green and lose away to Colchester Utd in League 2. Its school boy defending for the free header at the back post for the 1st & what was Crellin doing for the 2nd - trying to stay positive but I have to admit its really hard.
I don't know were Evatt goes from here but we have to back him to turn this around, but admittedly it is very poor - there are no leaders on the pitch & we are very easy to play against.

When the commentator starts sniggering it's rarely a good sign.

The work rate off the ball is absolutely shocking.

It’s been incredibly poor. Let’s not pull punches. Possession football with no end product and no punch. Up front we look non existent. Crawford looks a shadow of his former self. Back four is shocking. Especially at centre half. All you need to do is let us have the ball sit behind it watch us do nothing then break on us. It’s so clear we are a long way off competing in this league. And physically I don’t see us doing it either. They have run further than us I’m sure. Worrying. Very worrying. More so than last week.

Garbage
4 games 4 defeats
Worse start I’ve ever seen from a manager
He’s signed some utter shit at centre half
Wankers!

Trying to remain optimistic but that defense has been undone by two mistakes that have apparently been worked on in training.
Normally we get sussed out but 2 games in and the League know to absorb the pressure and drop it on Baptiste or Santos. Game won.

We just fell apart there. It's as simple as that.
Evatt is 4 games in and he's not got them anywhere close to making the correct runs, or even standing in the right place.
I said before that I thought a successful season was staying up and getting this system right over the first year. It's unfolding pretty much like I expected at this stage.
Worrying.

I will admit I'm a little confused in regards to Evatt's comments when he first got the job, we will press the opposition and impose our football on them & we will be the fittest club in the league, we are starting pre season a few weeks earlier than everyone else - where is the evidence of this.
BTW Santos & Baptiste are very poor and in his 2nd game has he changed his preferred system already ?, it will take time and Evatt has to stick with his principles otherwise what is the point ?
