Re: FA Cup First Round Draw
Assuming it is Crewe it’s a dogshit draw, probably the tie I least wanted. Already played them!
Edit it’s deffo Crewe, skelm have just been drawn. Daft cow doing the draw was a bit nervous at the start.

Re: FA Cup First Round Draw - Bolton v Crewe. Date TBA
The Skem player they interviewed said he thought they'd got Bolton, too...

I’m sure Ian had a word!!! He’ll tell us all about it in the post draw press conference.
Cracking tie for Chorley, at Wigan.

"Everybody in football knows this is a great competition that's had some hard times recently but we all know it shouldn't be here, and it's my job to take it back to where it belongs.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 7:35 pmI’m sure Ian had a word!!! "So we've analysed the data and put it through the algorithms and we've hired specific for every position - third-rate front-man wishing he was Gary Lineker, bloke you'd forgotten ever existed to draw the home teams, somebody you never knew existed to draw the away teams. And I'll be the first to admit that it's not gone entirely right.
"Look, we've had some spells where the draw has been as good as any you'll see, some proper old-fashioned ball-bag action, but we've not put it together consistently. We get the home teams right, somebody announces Skem as an away team. We get the away teams right, somebody knocks the Cup off its plinth.
"But listen, I'm a confident person, you all know that, and we have to take that confidence right through the cup draw. And once we start doing that, I'm telling you now, we'll have some of the best draws you've ever seen."

I thought that that fat lad who used to play for Norwich said "50", which was Skem's ball too. Apparently he said"15", which was Crewe.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 8:15 pmShe defo said Skem, I checked the replay on Whodrawed.com.

Time to get a bingo caller to do the job, "Number of people who like Tranmere Rovers outside of the Wirral, one" will play "Something we've all been going without for months, sixty-nine".

On a completely unrelated note I hadn’t realised just how much Ian Evatt looks like Skhodran Mustafi til the cup draw. Can he come and play in our defence? He’d probably be an improvement.
Good luck against Crewe!

Had to look Skhodran Mustafi up, but yes, an absolute ringer . Can yer man motivate young players rather than digging them out in public? What's he like at talking in terms of foundationless hubris?Gooner Girl wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 6:48 amOn a completely unrelated note I hadn’t realised just how much Ian Evatt looks like Skhodran Mustafi til the cup draw. Shall I add him to the same list as Philippe Senderos and Pascal Cygan? Two Arsenal defender who I actually found to be so bad that they were amusingly rubbish (although I'm sure you didn't )

IIRC Cygan was actually surprisingly good for about half a season (then dreck for a long time), but Senderos always made me imagine the Alpine village pining for its lost idiot...

Senderos and Cygan looked like Pele compared to Stepanovs and Squillaci. We’ve had some bad centre half’s over the years...Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 5:43 pmIIRC Cygan was actually surprisingly good for about half a season (then dreck for a long time), but Senderos always made me imagine the Alpine village pining for its lost idiot...
Cygans song always made me laugh though. “He’s bald, he’s shit, he plays when noones fit...”
