Tuesday's opener was the best half of the season. Was that the worst? Emotionally, possibly, but not statistically.
Don't know where we go from here. It's amateur hour, kids'-football stuff but the low bar is to try to win the second half. Get a goal and see what happens.
Oh, Bolton.

And last game?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 3:47 pmYeah it’s great. We are 3-0 down to Leyton Orient and that’s with our keeper saving a penalty too. It’s awful. You know it too. I said at the start that less than a PPG at 10 would be a problem. I’m not sure Evatt is showing me enough. This midfield is just far too lightweight and it’s why we are getting mullered.

I'd rather play Matt Alexander, at least he's ours.

So pleased I listened to my misplaced confidence after Tuesday and spunked a tenner on this!

That second free kick went straight through the wall. Poor from Crellin, but his defenders did him no favours.
Tutte is utterly clueless as a defensive mid. He has no idea where he is meant to be. The defensive unit is basically Santos desperately trying to hold Baptiste, Delaney, Tutte and Crellin together whilst they fall to absolute bits.
We have no clue how to build an attack. That's something we've not shown all season and is really worrying.
Hard to watch, this.

They've scored with every shot on target bar the penalty. Make of that what you will.

Surprised that's not on the stats.

Everyone’s played shite barring maybe Tutte (at least he’s not hidden) and Santos. Agree on Tutte re his positioning - I’m not sure it’s not because he gets caught covering Crawford fannying about. Crellin, Crawford and Baptiste have been an extra shitty shade of shit mind.

The free-kick goals. Presented without comment as I have nothing to say.

We have two attacks, hoof it to a midget or chip it down the channel. That's the way we've played all season.
Being out classed in league 2. Don't even know what to say.

Well we're heading into full lockdown in 5 minutes or so. If the season isn't sacked off can we at least do enough to avoid relegation this year? We can start playing like Brazil once we're allowed back in the grounds again.

Bang on. We are giving the defence no relief. Delfonso going off has killed us as an attacking unit. It’s damage limitation here. I think it will be 5-0.

Heh, yeah. I'm not even listening and I know the one you mean. Bruce reckons he's on the wind-up and I can understand why.Burnden Paddock wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 4:01 pmWho the feck is this c*nt on Bolton FM, yelling in a comedy Bolton accent?

Re: We three kings of Orient (A)re. Saturday 31 @ 15:00
What’s that got to do with anything? I posted plenty in the thread of the Bradford game. Delighted we won. But this is game ten. And we haven’t been good enough. Not close to it, for the majority of these ten games. And we are now three down at Leyton Orient. I thought Evatt was the answer in the summer. Sadly it’s an unmitigated disaster thus far and there are no signs really that we are going to get it right. The frailties are the same every game. Midfield being battered in spells, happens on Tuesday too for periods. Defence too easy to get in behind. No presence up front.DJBlu wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 3:52 pmAnd last game?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 3:47 pmYeah it’s great. I don’t know what the answer is but this is miles away from what we were promised in the summed. It’s a rag tag group who often don’t even turn up. I could forgive a lot if every week we put a shift in and played like we meant it. We aren’t doing that.
