On the back of you lot pinching Rob Holding off of us, we have a Portuguese gentleman who plays CB you may also be interested in?Gooner Girl wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 10:03 pmWell the good news for Arsenal is lots of teams will be trying to sign centre halves tomorrow!

He's great!
He's also another in a long line of players who Arsenal could have had if they hadn't been penny pinching at the time. Was it £20m Wenger wouldn't pay for him? Ozil has had that in wages this last year!

Re: Tonight's Football
I actually think it wasn’t wages that was the issue. He showed some loyalty and chose to stay with Leicester so fair play to him for that, but other then that. Nah. Don’t like him. Always scores against us. Is that not a good enough reason?!Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 10:03 amHe's great!

Re: Tonight's Football
No, not wages, I thought it was because Wenger wouldn't pay a £20m fee. I could be wrong.
If it's any consolation, he pretty much scores against everyone!

Very well done to my 2nd team, Chorley, on coming back from 2-0 down to put Wiggin art ert th'eff aaay cup 3-2.
And from what I saw of it - thoroughly deserved.

Amazing, one point all bloody season (although, to be fair, not much of a season!) in the 6th tier and they stuffed Wigan at their place, albeit a man up. It wasn't smash-and-grab either, they played a bit. Make that played a lot - it beggars belief why they are so low in the NLN.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 4:00 pmVery well done to my 2nd team, Chorley, on coming back from 2-0 down to put Wiggin art ert th'eff aaay cup 3-2.

Re: Tonight's Football
Grim tales drifting through - Nicky Hunt is reported to have suffered an injury to his back and/or neck whilst playing for Darlington this evening, causing the game to be abandoned in the latter stages. Apparently he was being treated on the pitch for over an hour. Hope to feck he's OK.
He must live round here as I've bumped into him a couple of times whilst he's been walking his dog. He was telling me just after Crewe released him that he was hoping for a year's semi pro whilst he sorts one or two other things out.
Good luck, Nicky.

Re: Tonight's Football
Rob Lainton's taken a bad knock this afternoon by the looks of things, whilst playing for Wrexham. Their game was held up for over 20 minutes. Hope he's OK.
