Hahahaha the most optimistic "one touch and finish" you've ever heard as Gordon picks it up 20 yards out between the area and touchline.

Obviously the usual suspectA cover themselves in glory but why did the centre half stood in the area melt away?? I would not trust Comley to have it covered!

Nice little 20-yard burst forward from Taft - Santosesque. We need those line-breakers.

65% possession.

I mean fecking hell, Comley really shouldn’t be outmuscled by someone in the U23s. You have to question his desire to play for us.

Nice move: not for the first time the high-pressing Greenidge nicks it 50 yards out, lays it wide for Isgrove to cross, Miller backheels but Hickman pulls his shot wide.

I'm not sure that's lack of guts so much as brains - namely awareness. Which is arguably more worrying.

Aye at first (and it’s a poor ball to him) but he really shouldn’t be letting the bloke have such an easy run into the area. There was time to recover the mistake.

Newcastle's goalkeeper can pick a pass better than most of our outfielders...

Another decent move spoiled by box-edge overcomplication, then Gordon gets a clear two seconds out wide to steady the ball, look who's in the middle, prepare to cross the ball... and gently flub it into the nearest defender.

Comley knocks the ball into touch so a Newcastle forward can get physio attention. Thing is, the Newcastle forward had stood up like 10 seconds previously. #awareness

Up in the commentary box, Derek and Gary both need to sacrifice a little speed for accuracy. As soon as the ball leaves a boot it's "great ball!" or "big chance!" which, in the half-second they've said it, has already proven to be nothing of the sort.

It's a great finish but are we allowed one with gloves?

Last we will see of coco the keeper tonight I think.

Great finish but someone will have to explain the positioning for him to me.

Think it might be 11 changes back in Saturday.

Comley is absolute toss.

He's done a lot worse than coming off his line here.
