feck me, they'll be selling Covid vaccines in Poundland before long. Can't help the feeling though that this Oxford one's a bit like the shit biscuits your mum would fetch out before attempting to convince you that they're exactly the same as McVities

Phrases in the back-story like "We were quick, over the weekend, the vaccine was pretty much designed" from Prof Sarah Gilbert who worked on it sounds a little bit like "yeah we just spun one up in the garage"...Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 10:11 pmfeck me, they'll be selling Covid vaccines in Poundland before long. I'm a fair distance from "anti-vax", but I might let others have first go at this one.
Re: General Chit Chat
Idk, I think this is probably the most important one yet globally. Can be stored at normal fridge temperatures and costs about 1/10 of the price of the other two.

I'll take it, but only if it fits in that little bit for eggs.

Not a scooby.
Edit: Having had a quick peek, I suspect the Mail headline "MEP caught at sex party in Brussels" might be the current leader rather than the availability of sprouts at Christmas...
Re: General Chit Chat

Couldn't be that, they already told us (23rd November) that was under UK implementation of EU law…Montreal Wanderer wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 4:15 pm...or covid vaccine in December.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 10:37 pmNot a scooby.

“if a suitable COVID-19 vaccine candidate, […] becomes available before the end of the transition period, EU legislation which we have implemented via Regulation 174 of the Human Medicines Regulations allows the MHRA to temporarily authorise the supply of a medicine or vaccine, based on public health need.”

Breakdancing in the 2024 Olympics. Does 10 pints of Stella before giving it a go in qualifying count as essential or drug taking?

Re: General Chit Chat
Just sent 3 excited children in for Christmas lunch and jumper day at school and remembering with fondness my own primary school Christmas’. It’s not the same this year, No nativity play, carols, Christmas cards, no bringing in board games but the teacher at school have been doing their best to make it as fun as possible, all ‘Work’ is Christmas themed, they’ve been making stuff to decorate the classroom, popcorn treats in front of a film etc. Anyone else remember those last few days of autumn term as a kid at school before the holidays when Christmas was pretty much all you thought about?
