Can we squirrel 3 points from the Wirral mob? (H) Sat. 2020-12-19 15:00 BWFC v Tranmere Rovers

We have no outlet in this side. Two wing backs who aren’t wing backs means we can’t stretch them at all:
You watching a replay of Cheltenham?
It’s so obvious. Brockbank and Jones neither have any pace and neither are wing backs really. We are at home. And are restricted to playing through the middle on the break thus far. It’s frustrating because we knocked it about well early on but miss Kioso big time.

No Hickman on the bench either which is odd.

Let's hope this Keith Hill side defend the lead as well as his did at Accrington.

We seemed to lose all momentum when Isgrove gave it away needlessly. They've looked a different side for the last 7 or 8 minutes. What a soft goal to concede too

At home you need a threat out wide one of your wingbacks at least needs pace and needs to want to go past their man or have the ability to whip balls in with little space. Otherwise it’s too predictable. Jones and Harry are makeshift at best.

And there is a classic example. Great move. Brockbank gets it in box but looks like what he is. A centre back. And again.....

It's almost as if we need an attacking midfielder

You're trying to look for fault in everything they do knowing it can't be changed. The joy we've had has been down the wings. Brockbank with the shot over, Jones into Isgrove. Do you just make up something to go with knowing there is no chance of rebuttal?

We need width. You won’t open teams up at home through the middle. Get down the outside. Get balls in.

They are wing backs at home. They are expected to be attacking for majority of their role. Creating. Beating their man. Neither are wing backs. It’s a critical role. If you don’t have the players to play the system then....

Thank God we're picked a winger instead of Crawford then

Looks to me like he's popping up ineffectually on both flanks

Who would you pick at wingback?

Your better options being? I'm sure nobody's saying that either are at home in the WB roles, but we're hardly blessed with choice.

Delivery is so poor. Shame as we probably don’t deserve to be losing on the balance of the game but I can’t see us scoring.

Play 4-4-2. That’s my option. The system ain’t working.

This might be ok away from home though.
