Will Evatt be wise about Morecambe? The Christmas special - Morecambe (H), 7:00pm, Tuesday, 29 December
Morecambe are the form team having won 5 of the last 6; their only defeat was 2-1 at table-toppers Newport. I think we'll struggle, so would be happy with a point.

Will they bring us sunshine, or just shrimps? Two home fixtures next to state our case good and proper. Not giving away soft goals is priority one. Time to turn it on against some good opposition. Like Eric Moecambe said, " I play all the right notes, just not necessarily in the right order!" Come on you Whites......

Can see another defeat here. Kioso will be a massive miss (Hickman should play but won’t), and we are fairly easy to pick off at home. Depressingly I would take a point now.
Baptiste wants dropping - if he’s insistent on keeping 3 at the back Brockbank should start. So on that basis:
Gilkes
Brockbank
Santos
Delaney
Hickman
Jones
Tutte
Sarce
Thomason
Delf
Doyle
I can see Isgrove at right wing back in for Kioso might be the change he makes.

Not a disaster this IMO, much rather play them when its re arranged when we hopefully have 3 or 4 new / better players in.

Or make them play their u-18s, which is what was required of us. I assume they are in a separate "bubble" to the first team, so not affected by the outbreak.

Bollocks. That’s some more shite tv I have to find now.
I see Doncaster had to call a game off the other day - with only a few hours notice. Presumably they forfeited the points?

Just thinking about how lucky we are this is our first Covid postponement. Looking at the league table, games played ranges from 19-21, which given l1 is 16-21 is pretty good going. Suppose there are less cup games and more league match days by virtue of l2 teams being a bit shit. Still, season has to be played out by May - so there’s a lot of sat/tue/sat football, no time for a C19 break IMO, or serious danger of the season being decided on ppg again.

Talk of that on the radio this morning with the Premier League looking for a 2 week fire breaker.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 6:52 pmJust thinking about how lucky we are this is our first Covid postponement. The EFL has had 40 odd postponements already which will need playing.
Might get decided by Fifa.

Wimbledon v Lincoln is being played today in league one despite positive tests on playing and management side. What are the rules??

Rules are changing. EFL clubs to resume mandatory tests (rather than "If Steve feels a bit sniffly") for the first time since last season.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 10:47 amWimbledon v Lincoln is being played today in league one despite positive tests on playing and management side.
