I think it is the players. Systems not changed and neither has there been any subs. Mentally they’ve em only turned on since going behind. That’s not Evatts fault.

Exactly. It's all been tempo and aggression.

It is at least partly the manager's fault if they're not switched on – "partly" because he can't cross the white line.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 4:46 pmI think it is the players. I will be intrigued to see how many personnel changes we make this month. We need leaders - Lee?

Some of these aren’t cut out to play for Bolton. Think they can just turn up and win. Lee might be the character they need.

Brockbank more or less a right winger since the goal. Which is why everything has gone down that side. Either the players have just freed themselves from the system holding them back or just can’t be bothered at 0-0. Either way problem is not a lack of quality at all. Not in the players....DJBlu wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 4:45 pmNor the system as it's not changed either.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 4:44 pmWhat this shows is we are good enough. The problem lies not in the players.....

Or the system is more fluid than the players often show.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 4:48 pmBrockbank more or less a right winger since the goal. Well that’s a problem then isn’t it? If what you are doing is failing you change it. Yet we are doing the same thing game by game. And when desperate we look a better side. Perhaps it suggests the issues and points to them very clearly.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 4:49 pmOr the system is more fluid than the players often show.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 4:48 pmBrockbank more or less a right winger since the goal. "Not a lack of quality in the players" is not the same as "not the players".BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 4:48 pmBrockbank more or less a right winger since the goal. I’d keep Doyle and Tutte and happily get rid of the rest of ‘em.

In the second half, Brocky has overload down the right. Greenidge has just overloaded down the left. The system can work. But, as I say, you don't want to see that.

feck me I hope that’s the last time he plays for us.

Game over, cheers Reiss. Piss poor throw again, pressure at the back and goes through the player. 2nd yellow and a red. Cnut.
Saving grace. Misses the next game.

Get rid of Greenidge. One of the worst excuses for a useless thick lump I’ve ever seen. Thick as mince. Big lumbering slow and useless shit.
