Jones in for Brocky (inj)
John in for Jackson
Maddison in for Isgrove (not sure that's like for like)
Dapo in for unlucky Arthur.

I reckon any of the 3 in the 4231 (Delf, Dapo, Mad Dog) can play in any of the "3" positions. So we may see some bitchin' switchin'. And why not, as long as we don't lose our wood in the trees.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 2:13 pmJones in for Brocky (inj)

Arthur, Isgrove and Elbo all waiting to replace any standard-dippers.

Thought that may be where the team ended up albeit I am disappointed that Lee hasn’t made the squad. I think with him or Sarcevic in that centre of midfield we’d offer more of a threat. That front 4 I am looking to see together, even though I think it’s a tad harsh on Isgrove and Arthur.

Harsh on Arthur. Isgrove has been wank, for me. I'm excited. So crushing defeat incoming.

Aye agreed on Isgrove but as soon as he switched wings midweek he created a couple of opportunities straight away. Thought we were slow to change that and ultimately that’s why both were quiet...but I’ll stop banging on about that now. I doubt mad dog will put up with not getting much of the ball...long time since we had a player I’m excited about seeing!

I think he's signed Maddison to play wide right, not at 10, so I think that's why Delf is safe for now (I'm not sure Arthur or Dapo could play the role).
The XI he's picked today must be close to "strongest". Sarc for Self, and a question over the keeper. But otherwise I think it will be close to this from here on out.

I still have fairly big doubts about Evatt but the relative quality of the players we have available to us now should really mark today as the proper beginning of the club's re-set. I can't recall feeling such a sense of genuine strength at the level for at least a decade.
The conditions will probably make it a more even contest than it needs to be so I'll go for a hard-fought 2-0 or 2-1

Lee a huge miss for me, and I thought MJ was poor on Tuesday, so the centre of the park a concern today.

Tuttes an odd one. He struggled first couple of games back from injury but he’s a good reader of the game at this level. Would prefer him in the side over Thomason at the moment.

Really can’t understand why he’s not starting over MJ, who’s begun awfully again.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 3:01 pmTuttes an odd one. Wow. What a hit. If John can defend then he’s way too good for this level. Looks unbelievable going forwards.
