Looks a good idea, we've been doing a daily Joe Wickes YouTube workout, 10-15 mins. Not that I feel any better for it!KeyserSoze wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 8:10 pmCount me in, lockdown coupled with living a two minute walk from a quite amazing bakery has destroyed any core strength I had.Gooner Girl wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 8:02 pmSo after BP smashed his target (errr) for February, I feel like setting one for March. My core really needs some work! The superman that is GtE has said he will join me in this. Anyone else fancy giving it a go? Pretty sure some of us did this a few years back? I’m not convinced I’ll manage every day but I’m going to give it a good go. Especially days 9,18 and 27.

Squats done, but feck me! Didn’t realise just how unfit I am. Struggled to do 2 sit ups, but putting that down to poor facilities and preparation. Lay on the bathroom floor in bare feet, with one foot up against the wall and the other on the door. Had to get up quick, as I was being approached by a Japanese harpoon bearing boat!

Done. Nice easy start to the month...……
Quads are tight after yesterday's 14 miler and am currently trying to stave off plantar fasciitis in my left heel. Murder when I stand up but eases when I move round for a bit. So I guess I'll keep moving...……

Errr, perhaps we should fit a little more running in, too.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Day one done, splitting in half a gentle and rather pleasant 35 min jog to Regent's Park and back. Back of the knee still a tad delicate but spirits are bright.

After a YouTube tutorial I’ve discovered that I’ve been doing sit ups wrong, for all of my life. Well, when I say ‘doing’ what I really mean is I had the wrong idea of what one is. I’d always thought your legs were supposed to be flat to the ground and you raised your torso, so that your elbows came up to your knees. Either that, or they’ve made them easier by allowing you to bend your knees!
25 squats, 10 sit ups and 10 crunches (with Miss BP say on my feet ) . Done! I’m not going to be able to move tomorrow!

Just done the first lot here now, with wet hair too, after a shower, and it’s not been cut since 2019 which I like to think means I did day 1 with weights as it’s flipping long and heavy.

They’ve changed the bloody rules in that case! Made things easier for you youngsters, just like they have with GCSE and A levels.Gooner Girl wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 8:38 pmNumpty! Seriously?!
