We miss Sarc a lot.

That it's going to lose its mind

Aye. It feels like all the other options in the 3 are dribblers rather than pass-and-movers.

Whoever's covering the stream is certainly lingering too long on the highlights.

Interesting to see if Miller replaces Doyle or joins him.

This seems like its going to end as a frustrating 0-0. We seem better with Elbo on.
Wasn't expecting Dapo to come off. Seems like the right side has been a problem side all round as Dapo wasn't able to make headway their either.

Miller at 10, judging by his pointing response to Doyle's query.

Gonna say this has been shit.
30 mins of fine passing an a couple of shots, the rest looks like we've been on a mid season bender and pitched up hung over.
COYWM!

We’ve lost all shape here. The problem is a lack of tempo early on. When you play slowly you invite teams to get more and more comfortable. Need to inject urgency. Turn them round rather than invite them to squeeze up and watch us pass it. Tempo has been very very poor today.

Colchester are a poor side, but we’ve really not been at the races. Let’s hope the maverick steps up.

We're not winning today. chaps, and we don't deserve to either.

This, and the kicker will be Tranmere and Cheltenham drawing too.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 2:38 pmWe're not winning today. chaps, and we don't deserve to either.

Aye. Feels like we've played right into their hands. They've got bolder as they've realised we're offering almost no threat.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 2:37 pmWe’ve lost all shape here. When I’ve said in recent weeks that fine margining games was likely to see us unstuck there is never a better example of it than here. Ok we might win this. But our inability to find 4th gear let alone 5th on a good run is of concern. We should be able to steamroller the odd game. Yet don’t.

Can't believe I got excited about this.

Yep, new manager bounce. But we’ve let them be comfortable. Not turned them round enough. Wouldn’t put it past them finding a winner. It’s that sort of day where we’ve tried to out pass a side who want us to.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 2:41 pmCredit to Colchester, they've done really well.

Maybe the lowered tempo is the tactic?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 2:37 pmWe’ve lost all shape here. The problem is a lack of tempo early on. We all know that Gnahoua getting a start and Maddison coming on as sub is a little unusual. So I suspect that we've got one eye on managing fitness in line of the Newport County 6 pointer on Monday.
We'd be a goal up if it wasn't for a few yards offside earlier in the match. We're not performing our best today but we're not that far off winning.
