Something in the water? V Harrogate, home, 3-0'clock Sat 10-04 -21

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

We've been completely outthought and outplayed and most worringly we seem to have no idea how to counter their tactics.

The effect their press is having on our ability to get out of our own half is only serving to highlight how sorely we miss a physical presence up front.

This is a big test of Evatt.

Maddison off for Thomason. Who's your favourite son?

Want to see this team show that it wants it. When it matters when you need to pull out the performance they need to show this half that ability. Need to massively up the work rate and effort. I want to see a desire and determination to turn this round. Bit between the teeth and go and show us you want it. It’s a big test. Arguably one we need. If we are to go up automatically we need to be able to do this.

Isn't it time to admit that the whole Maddison 'thing' simply hasn't worked?

The problem with that change is Lee is now our attacking midfield player. We are at home to Harrogate.

You would think so but if I were Evatt, i'd be asking him to do the simple things first and foremost and build from the basics. It's almost as if he's trying too hard to impress and that's causing his performances to be poor.

It seems as though we can't trust him to retain possession.

Exactly. Should’ve taken Williams off.

He's really slow and predictable on the ball. Bar the odd good cross (when airborne, we're not going to score a header anyway) I don't know what he offers.
