Re: Remaining fixtures
Aye, they're definitely our main rival. I still slightly fear Morecambe's ability to grind out results but that seems to be waning. FGR have collapsed and Newport are in and out. Helpfully, none of the the three teams directly below us have better GD - but I'd still like a clear victory margin soon to (1) improve that and (2) stop biting my fingernails to the elbow.knobpolisher wrote: ↑Sun Apr 11, 2021 4:20 pmNot really bothered about the top, IMHO with 6 remaining third place is between us and tranmere.
4 wins would mean tranmere requiring 5 wins to pass us. Even 3 wins and a draw would put us on 77 with tranmere needing 4 wins and a draw.
For tranmere the games are running out if we stay focused and keep whatever impetus and luck we have they won't catch us - end of.

Re: Remaining fixtures
Tranmere sound like they're struggling and fans have turned on David Nugent who's in to replace Vaughan.
It's there for the taking.

Re: Remaining fixtures
If we win everybody's under pressure knowing it before they kick-off; lose, and fate needs to deal a kind hand. Solution: win. We need not to lose tomorrow first. Still nerve twitchy time. Hope Madison leaving like that has no effect on the lads.

I suspect most others will be similar TD (though not necessarily). All games moved from 3pm Sat so they don't clash with Prince Philips's funeral.

Yup, all games switched to 12:30pm, bar Colchester v Walsall, which is at 5:30pm. That's Essex for you.

As consort to the monarch of our country for some 70 years? I'm respectful enough as a Christian to allow his funeral taking priority over football for a couple of hours. . Just my viewBWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 8:15 pmUtterly bonkers is what I make of it. But there we are.

I mean they postponed the masterchef final. Seriously what are we meant to do? On a serious note it’s gone well over the top in my view. He was 99 it’s not like it was a shock. And I have absolutely no beef with those wanting to pay respect. Or indeed the tributes on the day of or even the day after. But well well over 100,000 people have died of Covid and yet people seem ready to pretend that never happened yet the death of one man needs a week of national mourning and over a week later sporting fixtures to be rearranged? I find it bonkers. I fully appreciate my perspective is not shared by lots of people. Still doesn’t mean I can’t find it bonkers.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 9:01 pmAs consort to the monarch of our country for some 70 years? Ridiculous. His family have my sympathies, like any other family who've lost a loved one. As for the Christian bit, I thought all were equal under the eyes of God and I'm not expecting them to move KO time when I kark it.

Re: Remaining fixtures
And yet 100000 plus sad heads with zero respect have complained to the BBC because the schedules were changed and they couldn't watch eastenders and some wannabee cooks on Masterchef. It was the queen's husband , who has done more for this country than Danny effin Dyer and Greg Wallace, remember the change to sporting schedules when Di died ? Show some respect.
People haven't got a good word for you, but i have T**T.

Re: Remaining fixtures
I certainly couldn't be bothered complaining. There's other channels and an off switch. I have no reason to respect nor disrespect someone I don't know.
