Get the lads in, get them motivated and back out there. Team talk shouldn’t take long. Can see the subs being crucial today. We just don’t score enough goals...
Swap Dapo and Isgrove for 10 minutes.

Dapo will rip the shit out of their left back. All 45 not once did they try it.
I’d be chucking Arthur on. Week on week Dapo never gets on the goals or assists column. Arthur’s not as good all round but he’s more useful.
Depends on what metric you use. Dapo seems to be able to bring the ball forward better but without the goals and assists. I don't think we get the same with Gnahoua and his last match was woeful. I think the Gnahoua experiment is worth another go, especially with how much marking Dapo has been getting.

Those saying Dapo isn't playing well, they are doing a number on him because they know he's the threat. 3 players on him at all times. If he gave it and went we'd probably have a bit more joy.
I don’t think so. He cuts inside every time which is why he never finds any space. Always heads into traffic and teams know it.

All round play is decent and his defensive work is generally excellent. Just never looks like scoring for me. Still think we can do this but need to make most of our chances.
I'm hearing we've had two goals ruled out for offside. Hopefully thats a good indication of things to come

Dapo would be more useful to us if we were even mildly threatening with our set-pieces. He's very adept at drawing the foul in good positions. It comes to nothing if the resultant free-kick is wasted, though.

Sloppy 1st half, we can't keep missing such easy chances week after week and our set pieces are abysmal. Big 2nd half required here the players need to seriously step up, if they don't I can see Grimsby scoring a 2nd.

Just remembered the kick off time was 12:30. Oops.
First minute?!?? Bloody hell. Making things difficult for themselves by the sound of things.
A draw might be a let off here if we can sneak one.
Then again they're not at the bottom for nothing, maybe they'll be knackered and we'll.get fresh legs in and win it. Come on you Whites!!

Morecambe again. They're going up I reckon. Hopefully at someone else's expense.

So, i've missed the entirety of the first half due to a bit of coaching myself.

What have I missed?
I missed their very early goal as iFollow bumped me out. We've had some good chances - Tomo a six-yard sitter well saved by a starfishing goalkeeper, Dapo a skied pullback from 15 yards - and Doyle's had it in the net twice but disallowed for marginal but probably accurate offsides. Grimsby aren't sitting back and look physically dangerous - think Harrogate - helped by us starting badly.

Big half.

Gilks makes 3 saves in five seconds.

Ridiculous. I’ve no idea what we are doing. But nobody can claim we aren’t very lucky to still be in this. Grimsby should be out of sight.

That all came from Santos being outmuscled and not getting the free kick he usually, sometimes fortunately, does on those occasions.

Wow four saves. Little bit shocking they had four players lining up shots.

See that halftime stats? Clear Chances, of which we had more?

No chance of winning this.

Simple stuff like clearing a ball becoming difficult.

Santos the lucky recipient of Gilk's saves.

They’ve had the best chances for me. Thomason and Dapo for us. But I’d say they’ve had at least 3 must score situations by my count.
