Sarcevic made a massive difference

The sending off pretty much killed the game. Don't think Morecambe were very attacking to begin with but it's basically nullified any great push from them. That's looking really good for promotion now. Morecambe have the best home record in the league so this result is even sweeter.
The Cheltenham result sucks but it was expected. Their game in hand should see them lifting the title. Fingers crossed they drop points on the game in hand as it would be really nice to have something in reach on the last day of the season.
Massive three points.

Ref bottled that forearm smash red card as well! That was practically assault on MJ - who it rattled cos his missed header ended up in the one baps cleared off the line.

Morecambe 0-Bolton 1. Ten men or no, we won a game that was always going to be tough. Never how, just how many. Do for me.

Note the amount of 0-0 draws and 1-0 results. Just a pity Tranmere won.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 5:00 pmRelevant FTs:

It’s an absolute brilliant result. The whys and wherefores at this stage irrelevant.
Man of the match is a toss up for me between Baptiste and MJ Williams who were both utterly superb. Probably his goal line clearance edges it for Baps up until then would have plumped for MJ.
Elbouzedi has had too many chances now. Send him back from whatever rock he was brought in from behind. One of the most truly awful players we’ve had.
I thought Miller did well when he came on. But Sarcevic of the subs was superb. His touch and class shone through. Shame others couldn’t take advantage. Thomason had a weak game and I’d hope Sarce is fit to start Saturday. One win now does it doesn’t it?

Yes. Morecambe are 4pts behind us with two games left so even if they win their two, one more from us puts us over their horizon.

I suspect looking at fixtures we do. Can’t see both Tranmere and Morecambe slipping up. And they’d both have to.jmjhb wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 5:08 pmWe might not even need a win.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 5:07 pmIt’s an absolute brilliant result.
