As long as it doesn't need removing by A&E, it can have an ice bath....I wouldn't recommend this if it does need A&E.

Yeah I’ve said before our away crowd are embarrassing sometimes. But the racism that was clear thrown at our players by their fans is disgusting and serious action is required.Prufrock wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 5:27 pmAbsolutely spirit was great.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 5:20 pmBakayoko went running right over to those throwing out the abuse. Absolutely disgusting and they got exactly what they deserved. Well a point more than their behaviour deserved but there we go. The spirit to dig that out is more important than thumping Sunderland 6-0.
I don't think the take away from that game will be the behaviour of our fans...
There were a few giving Evatt and or the bench stick for ages. Not great but don't think there was anything huge in that. Fans got lead away and we carried on. A few minutes later something much bigger must have happened. Assume someone else came over. But Dapo looked animated (he hadn't paid much attention to the first lot). Reports pretty quick that it was racism. Obviously will see what comes out but it must be pretty bad for them to go off.
No defending our fans chucking stuff at their keeper which definitely happened before all this kicked off.
But I'm sympathetic to fans on the pitch when you score a 104' equaliser against a bunch of racists having had your captain wrongly sent off.
Up the mighty f*cking whites.
Up to the Santos red card looked like being a 0-0 or scrappy 1-0. Awful conditions and I thought we'd done ok in those. The bare minimum stand up and be hard to beat.
An absolute joke decision from the ref.

Evatt confirms it was racist abuse. Their fans were also spitting on our subs.

Watched it on iFollow. An amazing point which is perhaps worth 4. Very difficult conditions. They played in a windstorm and on a small pitch. Didn't suit our play at all. But we fought. The first half, conditions and the physical nature of the game due to lack of space on the small pitch made Lee, Dapo and Charles ineffective. Aimson is certainly no Jones who we really missed. Morley disappeared after 15 mins..but we battled on against the brutal wind.
2nd half, Bod came on for Lee, and made things more interesting. Not a game for the purist but then the ref totally messed things up. Even watching live I could see that the shot hit Santos on his shoulder as it was hit straight at him. He could not even move to the ball. The ref unbelievably pointed to the spot and then incredibly gave him a red card which will inevitably be rescinded. It made life a mountain to climb. Trafford who was excellent throughout saved brilliantly but could do nothing with the goal as the makeshift back four conceding as Fossey, now at RB, was unable to cover the run of Stockton.
Dempsey came on but it was a battlefield out there. Didnt know what was going on in the dugout as the game was stopped and coule evicted. It continued after the restart and then all the players were asked to come off. I suspected racial abuse.
We came back and Baka unbelievably scored under pressure from a after a wonderful cross from Jones who combined with Bod.
The fans went mad. Me too. Unbelievable scenes.
This point is worth 4. Shows that this team is a fighting team and are together, no matter what the conditions and circumstances. MoM Trafford.

Well, after a bit of soul searching, I have come to the conclusion that far too many who claim to be football aficionados are in fact subhuman.
From now on I shall await the results of our matches and have a good night's sleep. Today's exhibition was beyond belief.

I leave the country for one weekend and all hell breaks loose.
Feels like a massive point given the circumstances, unbeaten in five and back at home on Tuesday (in hopefully better conditions - pitch and weather)
Morecambe have very quickly turned into a club I wish would feck off back to non-league.

Trafford can have a +1pt for the penalty save too.

Evatt sounded really quite upset in his GMR interview. Unless he's told otherwise, I got the impression he'd like to see this one get sorted properly

Great point against 12 men, the ref was shocking as per usual in League 1 and that was never a penalty or a sending off it clearly hit Santos on the shoulder. Excellent comments from IE after the game something serious must have gone on behind the dugout all game.
Well done the BWFC fans, excellent / awesome support - if they try & stop this passion we may as well stop watching football as it will just be boring sanitised football watched by people who just clap or nod when we score - football is a passionate sport it always has been and I thought in general the Bolton fans were ok today (every club has the odd 1 or 2 idiots and always has had), but this is nothing like, nowhere near anything that happened in the 70's & 80's this is playground stuff in comparison and isn't trouble or football violence it's just youthful exuberance which needs to be rained in a little.
Morecambe - what a tinpot club they really are, its admirable that they are punching so much above their weight on the pitch but off the pitch what a shambles.

I'd have probably taken a point before kick-off and although our performance prior to the incidents was less than stellar, our players and staff deserve humungous credit for the character they showed, not just in returning to the pitch after what went on, but in battling to score an equaliser in horrid weather conditions, after having our captain sent off, and in an increasingly hostile atmosphere. I felt a great deal of pride in them at the final whistle.

The red card can be rescinded, but not the damage it caused. Despite the pitch size and the lousy conditions (in fairness the same for both sides), we were holding on always with a chance of scoring despite being ten men . In the removal of Santos that allowed the Shrimps to score, the ref did them a big favour and I hope he sleeps tonight and dreams of refereeing Argentina v Uruguay in a World Cup Final and gives one of them a penalty in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately he'll class ours as an unhappy accident that wasn't his fault because the snow got in his contact lenses.
Seen the highlights and the Morecambe players pointing at their hands and wrists to the ref for handball are either blatant cheats or need a visit to Specsavers. Fortunately, football is full of surprises and none greater than Bakayoko's equaliser. You just never knows till that whistle blows..!
As for the rest...there are no words.

Didn’t watch any of the game yesterday, but a point seems fine in the circumstances. Will need to beat Charlton on Tuesday to keep the dream of making the playoffs alive.
The red card decision looks to have been outrageously bad, and will surely be rescinded. Too many games are impacted by poor refereeing in the lower leagues, and there seems to be very little accountability.
