Wars of the Roses again as the Yorkies descend on the Unibol "up fert Cup". Hope we've got over our shaky spell as this is a tough fixture. Everybody tends to hint the cup doesn't matter against the league positions, but it's a myth. Cup fever is always rampant and hopefully the gaffer has his sensible head on and picks a battling side. You can bet Barnsley will, so who makes the grade Saturday?.....

No Aimson or Isgrove, both hamstrings. Lloyds is the same one. Not good news for him.
433 or a variation please Ian. The definition of madness would be keep to doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

4-3-3
Toal in at the back. Dapo and Sadlier either side of Dion.
George, MJ & Sexy Keiran in the middle. Couple of kids on the bench. Sorted. 2-1 win

He'll play exactly the same formation but will shuffle the pack slightly in a pathetically pig-headed display of pertinacious obstinance!

And in a game where neither side wants to win we will probably win meaning he sticks with the same system for another two months….Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 4:45 pmHe'll play exactly the same formation but will shuffle the pack slightly in a pathetically pig-headed display of pertinacious obstinance!

Why wouldn’t we want to win?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 7:29 pmAnd in a game where neither side wants to win we will probably win meaning he sticks with the same system for another two months….Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 4:45 pmHe'll play exactly the same formation but will shuffle the pack slightly in a pathetically pig-headed display of pertinacious obstinance!

Because of the date I was going to title this thread " Fireworks at The Unibol" I didn't want to tempt providence too much and risk a damp squib but a couple of rockets would be nice and I'll swap a thunder-flash for a thunder clap any time. A convincing win would put the sparkle back in us all..Come on Whites, make "Remember, remember the fifth of November " a chant to sing for the future......

I'm sure you mean neither side want to attack? If not, that's a presumptive/confusing statement surely?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 7:29 pm

The pitch, despite the best efforts of the groundsmen, will surely have a decided slowing effect on the game after the amount of rain we've had this week. Will it suit or detract us? .

We’ll, we can’t get any slower at the moment. Our build up play has been akin to the craggy island over 75s priest 5 a side tournament.

Hope he doesn't just give Dad-Bod his usual fifteen minutes. He's the one to score...Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 1:04 pmWell, Sadlier has his start...Hopes he takes his chance...

3-5-2 and we're 1 down already.
