Fleecing the Rams. Away V.Derby County, Sat 21st Jan.3.0' clock.

Barkhuizen with two assists. Guess that's why they outbid us for him. Still, at least my club's alive.
Situational point made? He wasn't great v us at ours. If he has 2, he's just doubled his tally...
An example of the spending power we're up against, even from a club that nearly popped this summer. It's not a game I wish us to play.
We need an exceptional manager to overcome that. Derby have more money and a better manager than we do.

It’s alright lads. Kachungas here to show us why we don’t need Dapo or any other strikers. He’s not scored any. So must be due a hatful now.
Aye, Dapo would've turned it round by now. Someone put a tuppence on the needle, it's stuck.

Just think, we’ll have three teams from the championship plus one of derby, Ipswich, Wednesday or Plymouth next season! It’s a fecking tough league to get out of!
But the teams coming down are northern, so that's good for away days.

Again, I would be interested to see what happens to some of those names financially if they don't make it to the Premiership's mini-me. Plymouth would be fine. The others are shovelling in cash.

Connor Bradley hitting the defender again with the cross. Ffs.

Can't say Evatt will be happy about this performance because we've let Derby bully us all game.

DSB, 6 numbers between 1 and 50 please

Hoping this is going to be a game of 2 halves as that was poor. 1 shot in total.
Especially as Dion needs 2 or 3 to score, bless him. And this is one of those close big games where we don't get loads of chances. The promotion deciders.

I can see a turgid half-hour, a Derby second, then a late consolation. Shoretire sprinting into the net to pick the ball up. All in vain.

And there it is.

I have no doubt, clubs can outspend us. :-) So we might have to do more of what Plymouth are doing and a little less of "on brand." Most mugs can play a good hand, winners change the dynamics on a bad one.

Or stating his case for some minutes up front. It's a three-game week, I'd be tempted to give him the full last 30 v FGR.

Doesn't mean we don't need to sign a striker, but if he can continue to score as a sub, it's not a bad thing.

Lol classic.

Beaten by the better team. They've got the cash to go and get proven quality. We just haven't got that kind of cash, and if we don't, I don't want us spending it, thanks.

Got Ipswich in the play offs written all over it :hang:

We will sell Sadlier because we don’t need players who can finish and score goals…football isn’t won by goals it’s won by technical presses and passes apparently….

Sadly, Sadlier sub was too late. Evatt knows best.

Game was mentally lost before kick off. Not a one on here thought we would get anything. Not many on social media, press.

Got exactly what was expected and deserved. Can't play like that and expect to win.

The left side needs sorting.

We've been giving these kinds of openings to teams and they've not taken them.

Derby were always going to say "Ta very much"...being as poor in midfield as we have been is the deciding factor.
Aye, that's key for me. We don't create enough and yet allow opportunities for the opposition. Against the better sides you're going to get beat
We’ve been playing the better sides in the last few weeks and not being beat. Derby. Plymouth. Barnsley. I think the issue is simply down to striker quality. Those two 0-0’s would be wins with that quality up front. And now we are weaker there than we were. Today was always going to be very hard on their run. But we should have beaten them at our place and the reason again is up front.
Nah. Nlundulu and Charles played well today. We just didn't create anything for them. Nothing.

Not really. Ability isn't in question, he's just not good enough not to do the work.

Off the bench he's a great option. The person keeping Sads out of the team is Sads.

Well, we're on a similar course to theirs after their own promotion from the bottom tier, a year before ours. If that continues, next season will be fun.
