Hardly surprising, seems he's done that a few times since becoming a manager.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Sat Jan 28, 2023 2:26 pm
Since Holden's arrival they've been one of the form teams.
Only Derby County have taken more points since the turn of the year.
Getting Chris O'Grady vibes from Cameron Jerome here. Heard good things form his work rate and pressing ability so i'm expecting him to do well here, but still can't shake the O'Grady feeling.

Get in. Great result. Never in doubt. Haha. God I hate being 1 goal up.

Another department we need to strengthen: S.

Great performance and thoroughly enjoyable match. Games against Charlton always seem to have a good feel to them. Long may that continue.

Excellent performance.
Derailed a bit by the enforced changes, but we recovered well. Without those injuries that's comfortable.
Ade already getting chances, but in general we were very wasteful. If that ended 4-0 they could have had few complaints.

The difference with two strong players up top is night and day. Can go long and it sticks.

TBF Ghosty, had it ended 4-4, I'm not sure we could've complained either!GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Sat Jan 28, 2023 2:37 pmExcellent performance.

Na. 4-2 maybe. We had by far the better chances and without the injuries, like I say, we'd have battered them in the second half too.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Jan 28, 2023 2:41 pmTBF Ghosty, had it ended 4-4, I'm not sure we could've complained either!
Miles better coached than them.

Long trip down. Early kick-off. Coming off a killer of a game against FGR. Charlton bang in form. All the pressure of the cameras. New lads having to slot in immediately. No real rotation at the back if anyone is carrying a knock.
Will be interesting to see what the 11 is and whether John is involved. Connor and Randell were both moving poorly when they came off.
Aimson's just left, so obviously big Rico will be cursed by the gods for this one too.
Easy Bolton win.
This was a very valid post and yet we've left with the three points.
Good, good.

Played well - both teams will say they had chances but we had more! Gutted both new forwards missed one on ones! Thought it was written for big Cameron today!
I thought John did well in the end from the bench - certainly no attitude problem.

I fecking love this club!
Can cheer us up on a dreary day. I have to paint 14 kitchen cabinets this afternoon and I'll be doing it whilst whistling with a cheeky smile.
COYWM!!!!

I felt "easy Bolton win" was a strong finish, yeahnicholaldo wrote: ↑Sat Jan 28, 2023 2:44 pmThis was a very valid post and yet we've left with the three points.
Good, good.
That game was stacked against us, including injuries during the game, and we mostly battered them.
Just superb stuff. If you're picking holes in that it's because you actively want to.
Training on Monday they'll go over the bad stuff, generally they'll just deserved praise today.

You and me both buddy. I was supposed to be getting the downstairs bathroom painted so I can get it tiled and then install the lavvy but the kettle kept getting in the way. Luckily the wife's in bed resting up or I'll be sleeping with the pooch tonight
