Concerned at the biggest naming rights deal we've ever done? No - delighted. But not oblivious to the world of opportunity with Toughsheet...
Re: Concerned over the stadium's new name? Toughsheet
I'll still be calling it the Reebok.

Re: Concerned over the stadium's new name? Toughsheet
All about money ,but I thinks it's pathetic. Okay, Macron and Reebok are nothing more than advertising products, but The University of Bolton Stadium at least sounded like it was ours, unlike The Toughsheet Community Stadium... Protesting is useless against The Pretenders (Brass in Pocket) but nobody can sue me for not liking it, so I don't. I've always been a Walking down the Manny Road, Burnden Boy at heart and always will be.

Holy sheet. How has that been approved by the EFL?

Well, that's a little embarrassing, but as I'm not the one funding a multimillion deal there's not a fat lot I can do about it

It's an absolute piss take, are FV for real we will be the laughing stock of football, it will sound like the 'tough shit' stadium, every time people say it.
I thought it was April 1 when I was told of this.

Neal Hart has now completed his undercover Burnley assignment.
Re: Concerned over the stadium's new name? Toughsheet
If we're keeping it local with the best deal ever then it's just a name.
Why not have a laugh?
Its not a loan shark or gambling business either.

Who care? Literally what difference does it make? It’s a big financial deal that is needed.
Some people seem oblivious to the fact we are a club living off good responsible owners but they don’t have deep pockets. Commercially we need to be viable. The best sponsorship deal we can get is a necessity. The fact it’s local is a huge bonus.
The name is irrelevant. And what does it matter? Nothing. I will call it the reebok or unibol (both I quite like) regardless.

It sounds a bit daft but it'll likely be the TCS stadium all over media and after a few early japes, we'll all just know it as The Reebok still.
Bloke behind it is a fan and his late wife was apparently, particularly fanatical about the whites.
Bottom line is the cash. Much needed and welcome.

I don’t care how much money this is worth to the club, who the fcuk signed off on that name - it's disgraceful, seriously Neal Hart must be pissing himself laughing getting FV to agree to this.

Agree with Insano. Biggest naming deal in our history, much needed revenue, local firm and with sentimentality in the deal.

I’m happy with was a bit like wtf at first but think the ring and cheek may grow on fans as said in Bolton news imagine the commentators trying to catch each other out there’s worse names it could be called like wankdorfe stadium (real name) or could of been the boohoo stadium
Lots of money in it and as said shows we have a sense of humor

It's awful.
I realise I'm in the minority with this but despite the supposed financial benefit I think it actually cheapens us a bit.

First it was service my car, shirt sponsorship now the 'tough shit community stadium', cheapening us a bit is an under statement - its appalling.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 2:06 pmIt's awful.

It's absolutely the opposite to "cheapening" us. It's just a name. No big deal.Bertie Wooster wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 2:10 pmFirst it was service my car, shirt sponsorship now the 'tough shit community stadium', cheapening us a bit is an under statement - its appalling.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 2:06 pmIt's awful.

There's no sugar daddy out there for us.
Mr Hart says "You don't like it? Tough sheet."
Re: Concerned over the stadium's new name? Toughsheet
Great name for the stadium. Tongue in cheek and chance for us to get more revenue in. Could've been a soul-less sponsorship deal but it's a local company.
I'd've preferred the Reebok Stadium but that doesn't look like happening any time soon, so i'll guess its Toughsheet.
