Can't remember who asked for the flags moment but this is the video I took of it.

Re: Abide with us...v Plymouth Argyle Sunday 2nd April 3-O'clock WEMBLEY
My God. What a day! Every moment was special. Waking the kids up at 5am and walking to the pub in the dark with the flags, their foam fingers and scarves etc. The lively coach journey. Singing, joking, laughing every moment of the way. The takeover of the services.
We got down there.. A fruitless attempt at getting into a couple of pubs saw us queueing at the turnstiles at 12.30 ish and into the ground for 1pm. Glad we did. Savoured the atmosphere, watching the crowds gradually grow and the noise levels get louder and louder
The match started and WOW!! Like a house on fire. Every player did their jobs superbly and with a speed, aggression, quality and purpose that was unmatched. One of our best performances in years pound for pound. We simply blew them away. 5-0 at Half Time would not have flattered us.
It was a genuine pleasure and a day I'll remember forever (hopefully!) - I've been drowning in YouTube content since we got home on Sunday night!!

Aye, still on cloud 9 here too and barely been off telly, twitter and SM since!
When you go to games it can often feel like there's just a small group of people, like minded as you, who care and fret about Bolton Wanderers. There's nothing like Wembley to remind you that there's thousands and thousands of us, who for one reason or another, hitched their wagon to BWFC.
Seeing family, old friends, old faces etc and hearing the vocal backing made for an amazing day. Spending time with my 2 nephews, mad keen Wanderers fans who lost their dad a few days after the Crawley promotion game and who probably never thought they'd see their team win a cup final, was awesome.
Probably my best ever day as a Wanderer

Christ - 'they don't deserve to be 2-0 up'.
I mean no. We deserved to be at least 4 up at half time.
Much better view from their end here....without the clueless miseries.

It did make me wonder - we can all be a bit 'one eyed' watching our team but....Worthy4England wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 4:03 pm^^ a two down, "It's been all us since then." What were they watching?
After we scored two we cut them open for two clear chances - one blocked (illegally) and stopped on the line the other Demps really should have scored. Plus Charles has missed what I'd class as a decent chance after Dempsey again got in behind them and pulled it back.
They've had one great chance that Trafford saved with his legs. That's it.
I was sitting there thinking 'what are these people watching'?

Personally I find the opinions of football fans are incredibly frequently absolute tosh

I liked where he's complaining about having to walk back to the coach past the "away" end, and what if they'd met Bolton fans leaving.

He did make it sound like there was a proper ruck, on the way back, which somehow the press missed...I suspect he passed someone aggressively wearing a white shirt and hasn't been to Exeter since he was 6...

Hadn’t even got to that part of the video. Just watched it now, wow. Just wow.
He wants fans ‘segregated’ at Wembley, is he all there?
Wembley way has always been completely mixed as has the stadium approaches. Yes you have one end but the whole Wembley schtick is rival fans mingling down Wembley way and into the various fan parks and ground. It’s what makes the atmosphere.
They strike me as seriously odd football fans this pair. Do they really like football or are they just hopeful of cashing in on a YouTube vlog to supplement their middle class Tory lifestyles?
Absolute bellends.

Should the headline read Plucky Bolton Fluke a 4 nil win on their big day out at Wembley?
