That has to be a case of seeing if Vic can get back on the goal trail?

We should be comfortably ahead here. This scoreline flatters Stockport. I get the impression N'lundulu needs to shoot more and Jerome needs to relax a touch on his efforts.
Lovely to see some of the youth players coming on.
N'lundulu's been a handful for them, constantly winning the ball high up the field. Deserved a goal with his efforts. Seemed like he shot when the angle was tough, but passed when he should've shot. Decision making needs a look in, but decent play for him nonetheless.
Jerome's been busy too since coming on. Nothing that shifts him up in the pecking order but enough to show he can cause a few problems.

Yeah, I don’t really see the point in giving him 10 minutes - although I suppose we wanted to leave Dan on.DJBlu wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2023 9:16 pmDoubt he'll get the chance.sonicthewhite wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2023 9:15 pmThat has to be a case of seeing if Vic can get back on the goal trail?

Dare I say we made that look easy whilst squandering a hat full of chances?
Come a long way since that FA Cup game.

Yeah we should have won more comfortably, that trio of chances straight at the keeper. Bod pushing now for a start, Jerome and Nlundulu doing their usual! Matheson got a full game and looked decent enough…probably tired last 15. Sharples got a couple of touches, shame we didn’t get that third to allow him longer.

Good result all things considered. Let's hope Williams going off was just a precaution.

Elsewhere, if things stay as they Derby could be looking for a new manager now wouldn't that be a shame?

Pleased for Sharples to get on, and for Lewis to have the matchday squad experience. They're the 7th and 8th B-teamers to get elevated to the first-team squad this season.
Glad for Jon Dadi too.
Very far from a full-tilt game but often these fixtures can be as hard as you let the oppo make them. A professional job well done. Rest up, lads, and go again in 11 days.

It would if (1) the new man sparks them and (2) Warne's methods work somewhere else... but that's two big ifs.sonicthewhite wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2023 9:27 pmElsewhere, if things stay as they Derby could be looking for a new manager now wouldn't that be a shame?

Anyway on the subject of Stockport has there ever been a fuller version of events to Sarcevic fecking off there for free after the Plymouth game? Did he have a pop at Evatt for being benched?

Have only just noticed that this competition is now sponsored by Bristol Street Motors, which sounds like the sort of sponsor we used to have behind the corner flag at Burnden.
The BDSM Trophy it is, then.

Thanks D.J.Blu as ever. You're a hero.
The game? Difficult to be satisfied with 2-0 in a cup game when you know it should have been 8-0. Be honest, in front of goal we were rubbish. For all the good work, they only needed to score twice for a draw and they weren't that bad second half. Although Santos made Franz Beckenbaure look frantic, we were a bit sloppy at the back at times. It was like game over when Jon Bod went off. Stats say Stockport have won 14 on the spin? Myst be some bad sides in that league. Oh, and that penalty? Where was the ref looking?
Ah well, we won so..

Brilliant comment from a County fan on Twitter: ‘2 good finishes from Erling Poundland’.
