Toal wants subbing. Stick JDC in the middle. He’s been a carthorse. Charles will be dragged off now, nice person.

Losing this is not an option if we want to win automatic promotion. The performance is abysmal.
Also Ashworth cannot be anywhere near a team that wants to win promotion. Nowhere near good enough. And we can’t be babysitting him with our ambitions. Get rid and get a proper wing back in. There is no other option.

Charles has games like this and it’s problematic. The problem is there aren’t close to enough goals among our other strikers. So if he’s off colour it’s bad news.

FFS Evatt.
Seemingly locking in the defeat here subbing Jerome and Bodvarsson on. Sure Charles wasn't playing well, but Vic seemed to be having some decent moments.
I get the Sheehan sub before he gets sent off, but Dempsey has been notably missing today.
Lets hope the new top two can change our fortunes.

Of course losing is an option. Why you so dramatic?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 4:17 pmLosing this is not an option if we want to win automatic promotion. The performance is abysmal.

We're having a poor game not a poor season.

Seems like Evatt has written this off and already focusing on Cheltenham on Tuesday. After the sitters missed and the performance so far I can't blame him.

This is the difference in league one. Games like this. If you want to go up. When you look back at the end this, Carlisle etc will be ones that you kick yourself for. Losing at Portsmouth will happen. But losing these ones are the ones where lack of consistency kills you in a league where you need 95 points to get top two.DJBlu wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 4:19 pmOf course losing is an option. Did Jerome just put his hand up to call himself offside?
Dont do that.

I suspect the current top 4 will all lose before the end of the season...we've just seen it with Pompey..BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 4:22 pmThis is the difference in league one. Such a shame we're the only ones in the league losing games like this then... oh.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 4:22 pmThis is the difference in league one. Games like this. We could pack up now and save our legs for Tuesday. There is no chance we are scoring.

Haha, making out that Leyton Orient aren't 2nd in the form table.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 4:22 pmThis is the difference in league one. Games like this. If you want to go up. Give it a rest.
We're knackered from the game midweek and they're on a run of 4 games without conceding.

This is the impression i'm getting.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 4:27 pmWe could pack up now and save our legs for Tuesday. There is no chance we are scoring.
Not sure its a case of feeling sorry for themselves, but I suspect its players just airing frustrations on the pitch rather than concentrating.
Too many sub par performances here.
Did the players go for a night out last night? Did they travel early this morning given the late call on whether its going ahead?
So many questions around why they're not at the races. There's very few that have reached the standards that we're accustomed to.

Give up on promotion folks. Sorry, I know it's only January, and we're fourth with games in hand, but BWFC-I says we can't possibly go up after going a goal down to one of the form sides.
Might as well pack it in for the rest of the seasom, aye?

Toal wants drug testing after this.

Context is king. Us losing a tough contest at Luton and Leyton Orient being in form. Was going to be tough ask this one.truewhite15 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 4:31 pmGive up on promotion folks. Us trying out Ashworth at LB has probably had some impact.

So cup game is detrimental. Peterborough winning. I’m not seeing many dropping loads of points in the second half.DJBlu wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 4:27 pmHaha, making out that Leyton Orient aren't 2nd in the form table.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 4:22 pmThis is the difference in league one.
