Iles has said they are only rumours for now. Nothing concrete.GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 12:44 pmRico is out for at least a month. We are trying to sign a centre half.

It could be 23 degrees though. Absolutely zero chance everyone will be happy.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 12:55 pmThat's hopeful, DTM. Got to admire your optimism.dave the minion wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 12:06 pmeven the most sceptical of complainers surely must be happy with that?
I think this team could go up as Champions and people would still say but we still lost x amount of games.

Yeah looks like he might be answering in the affirmative about Collins there.

I've asked Jack for clarification as it's quite ambiguous.

mass panic!
I think Forester plus Jones returning before say Charlton at home as well, will hopefully ease the panicking. We’ve got Barnsley, Cambridge (a), Northampton (a), Wycombe (h) in the next couple of weeks.

A fun Bet Vitor tweet has our 3 main forwards (Vic, Dion and Collins) on a combined 95 League One goal involvements in the past 18 months.
Bod brings that up to 101.

I'd usually trust Jack, but as Blu says it could have been a misunderstanding.sonicthewhite wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 12:57 pmIles has said they are only rumours for now. If Jack says it's confirmed, though, he's had it from the club.
It might be the club didn't want that out as they negotiate for a replacement.

Official website says June 2027 so it’s 3.5 years.sonicthewhite wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 12:10 pmJust going off what Iles reported. Hopefully there's an option to extend?
0.5 to summer of 2024, plus 3 to make it to 2027.
Can’t blame Marc for making the odd slip during a 16-hour shift but it’s unlucky that it’s that.

Jack has confirmed that he meant the confirmation of Collins signing.
Breath people, this is going to be a long 10 hours otherwise.

Manager's pre-match interview due out this afternoon, so I'm sure some light will be shed

Good journalism, DJB. Go back to source and check. As opposed to “spread panic”.
.
Hopefully we get the all-clear on Rico & Toal and some clarity on say Forrester return date. Still worryingly thin at the back in the meantime. Would like a loanee but that might be greed. It’s been a good window so far.
Moxon confirmed for Pompey, BTW.

Just to help Insano sleep better, Collins is allegedly 5'10" and Vic is 5' 11" could probably do a job as a CB.

Hey, we're all just watching nervously and sharing what we can. Your correspondent here is on a balcony in a hot faraway place, wondering which Stoke reserves we might borrow.

I'm in bed with bronchitis after an ill-advised trip to Blackpool.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 1:32 pm

I'd consider trading, except I have biscuits.

Me and Mrs Barnet have both been ill too. Lot of it about. But we do have biscuits. What holiday is complete without them?GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 1:34 pmI'm in bed with bronchitis after an ill-advised trip to Blackpool.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 1:32 pm
