How Clever Are You?

Post by malcd1 » Wed Jun 21, 2006 10:49 pm

I do a daily quiz on another site I frequent. Although there are far too many American questions the quiz is quite addictive. I have set up a TW quiz league and there is a daily table and a monthly table.

If you're interested click on the link and 'Create a Free Trivia Account' and then play.

http://www.funtrivia.com/private/main.cfm?tid=54960

The more people who play daily the higher the daily scores.

Give it a try and find out who is the cleverest on The Wanderer. I bet it isn't me.

Oh by the way I only got 6 out of 10 today

Well done sluffy. Some days are really hard some are quite easy. And everyone gets different questions.

It's only over the month you find the cleverest.

I'll try again tomorrow to try and catch you up.

Oops, forgot to answer the first question after leaving it to come back to. Ah well, a 7/10's a solid enough start for me I guess.

Doubt that all the questions will be on Isandhlwana though, Zulu...

I'm banking on at least one. (Mind you, I'd probably cock it up!) :D

Oh yes I forgot to mention time is really important, as you can see with Zulus. He may of only got 7 out of 10 but he beat Sluffy on the time. There is some calculation they do so be as quick as you can.

If you click on the STANDINGS icon at the top you will see the previous days scores, the monthly scores and past winners. Good luck.

Please someone else have a go. I'm still bottom. Never mind I will probably have to get use to it.

Well, thank for telling me now malc! I could have answered two seconds more quickly if I'd known. Well, maybe.

Yep, 4.5 hours to answer cost you a little in the point count.

You will get an unfair advantage Monty. There is usually at least one question a day on American TV or sports. So if you win I think I will disqualify you.

Can't remember one today in that area - Henry Bolinbroke, the Bible and Ari Onassis as I recall. You kids have an unfair advantage being quicker on the keyboard than we old guys, so it should even out. Pity I missed yesterday's quiz.
