Me too - slipping that is. Last time I knew all the answers, this time I'd never heard of some of the stuff. Three educated guesses, one of which turned out to be uneducated  , and one wild guess which was luckily correct. Someone complained about too much American stuff - I got one American question (nickname of the Dallas NFL team which everyone knows because of the cheerleaders, right?) - I want more American stuff! And fewer songs.

6/10 I got the Les Mis questions, and a whole load of crap no one should know. Thank God I guessed well.

Looks like I'll not be able to have a go today. The site seems to be down. If it's about American music this time around then I'm probably lucky as I would undoubtedly make a goose of myself.

I'm getting one point worse each day - bad guess on an English slang term (where were you when I needed you Bruce?) and didn't know what song started four movies I'd never seen or even heard of (another bad guess  ). Guess I'll be down to 7 tomorrow.

Ironic Monty, because I just managed to lose ten chapters of my second novel when changing pc's. Good job I had a printed copy, but I'm having to type the lot again

Note to self. If you get another question on topics the likes of; Life-forms indigenous to Krakatoa, or questions such as - How did Mr. and Mrs. Baudelaire die in Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" ? You don't know! Guess then move on rather than sit around wondering if it might come to you whilst incurring time penalties. Your cortial Librarian has no access to such information, Brucie Boy! Get pragmatic!

I'm afraid your cordial librarian is having problems of his own with these tests, Brucie. Although Uncle Monty tells me the Baudelaires were killed in a fire.

6 out of 10.

But then, I didn't need a quiz to tell me I was thick.

Indeed they were. And the things that those poor children have had to suffer since that unfortunate event are terrible. Especially in the lift.

A slight upturn for me, but I got the book question wrong. :( Welcome, Andy, but it's polite not to beat us all first time.
