Those aren't bad actually, if you swap Mexico and England that is.

The head honcho of the local F.A. has had the hide to come out complaining about Australia's position in the rankings. He compounded this by stating he was going to fire off an e-mail to FIFA asking how they came up with the figures.

IT'S ON THE FIFA WEB SITE MR O'NEILL, something of which you should have been well aware. For simpletons there is a simple explanation. For someone who is prepared to do one more mouse click there's a pdf file avaliable with more detailed equations. Careful, John, there's fourth class mathematics involved. If you want to take it home to read on the 'loo then you'll also need to learn how to use your office printer.

Honestly, some people. This one used to be my boss, for heaven's sake.

Hrrrmph! Well we moved up 29 places, the most of anyone except Ukraine. Keep this up and we'll be ahead of England come the Spring.

I have my opinion. I am entitled to it. I think the US are a strong top 15 team.

 every negative comment MX receives is justly deserved. as a fan of MX, despite whatever success is had, the negatives always are remembered....it's simple really. we just expect more out of the team. the US is growing in talent but will always flounder in the hispanic community because of non-football reasons. actually quite a few players have and will possibly not play (Adu) for the senior national team because of non-footy reasons such as: discrimination off the pitch, historical animosity, or alienation from a largely unsympathetic populace. only then will the US truly be able to bank on fans and in return grow significantly in relation to the world. this is in no way US bashing....this is just my opinion of why the US lacks the talent (as raw as it may be) and will not get any immediate respect. it has to be earned. remember, the US has only been choking in World Cups for a few years....Mexico has been doing during 13 tournament finals.

I think too many people have taken to US bashing to their difficult group. Ghana where no slouches, Italy won the damn thing, and the Czech Republic were the supposed 2nd best team in the World.

Ghana were entertaining but not solid, the Czechs admittedly had an absolute phenom of a game but still were not amongs the WC top tier, and Italy were by far not in the top 5 of the WC teams ... but they knew how to play each game instead of looking ahead (Forza Italia!). i understand your defensive stance though...it is tough rooting for a team that no one else respects in a market that ignores (and sometimes ridicules) its fans. so cheers to you :pissed: the unappreciated, never welcomed US fan.
