best thread ever...
now that i have your attention! (well i wouldnt click on another adverse weaher thread)
im troubled by this snow, and all the pics of gridlocked motorways on the news. i know its mainly down the east side and south coast - and its being dramatised becasue that London has some - but what is it really like in the north west, west Midlands, and along the M6 corridor? - im gonna be setting off from Bristol after lunch.

Unfortunately General, this can't be answered because it exceeds the 200 character allowance for posts.General Mannerheim wrote:now that i have your attention! (well i wouldnt click on another adverse weaher thread)

a bit around Chester & N.East Wales ... but only a bit & certainly not blocking travel at all.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Less than an inch in Herttfordshire, still closed school.
It's like the snow in this part of the country contains particles of Man Flu.

Hardly anything in Enfield and Elstree, and schools open. The M25 microclimate strikes again.KeeeeeeeBaaaaaaab wrote:Less than an inch in Herttfordshire, still closed school.

Re: best thread ever...
But don't come to the Isle of Wight. It's stopped working. Yep, all of it. Second bit of snow in 20 years and people genuinely do not know what to do. Every school and college closed. No buses and the trains stopped at lunchtime. ( I know; it's dinner time realy). If I see one more headline on TV about the Isle of Wight being realy, realy white, I'll have to move to the angry thread. Anyway, hope you have a safe journey.

Two Quid's two Quid though. Which in her eyes will be potentially £50,000 if she spends it on a winning scratchcard.ratbert wrote:The award for muppet of the week goes to:
