Trotters pics

Post by BWFC76 » Sat Aug 11, 2012 4:46 pm

I thought I would start a thread off where we can post pics we find or produce ourselves; relating to BWFC players/action/goals or just any interesting related pics that aren't widely available on the usual media outlets and BWFC web sites. Ie like private pics that you scan in or in my example below, a screen capture from a game on video (my 1st game April '76 Bolton Vs Oldham 4-0 to us)

I have captured the moment in the video where Roy Greaves is being congratulated by Big Sam after scoring his 2nd goal of the game, with Neil Whatmore by their side. A kind of pic that could be in a programme.

"Big Sam congratulates Roy after his 2nd and Bolton's 4th goal"

Anyway if you think its a reasonable idea and have some nice BWFC related pics that aren't generally available and you want to share, post away !!! :oyea:

Unfortunately not, I only requested that particular tape from ITV/Granada.

I shall put this in here. Playing golf this morning and Peter Nicolson was in the group in front of us. Despite him having a fairly successful career as a professional footballer with us and Blackpool, I remember that upon his retirement he had to make his ends meet by becoming a double glazing salesman for Summit Windows. The course we were on overlooks SKD's house. I was wondering what must go through Nicho's mind whenever he makes his way down the 15th?!

To be fair, Nicholson was never close to an England shirt

Take your point though - I bet Chris Eagles won't be doing owt when he packs up

Chez KD is large .... & obviously no idea of the inside, but it looks a miserable old heap from that photo.

Nicho .... loved the big-nosed b'stard.

Is his all of it, or just half? Looks like two front doors and isn't *that* big for 25k per week if half?

One's a door and the other's a glass arch. Perhaps my pic doesn't do it justice - it's a fantastic pad in a wonderful setting with mahooosive gardens.
