What a hero, What a man...... Ooooh, what a bad foul...
Re: Does anyone read this rubbish?
I've read it and found it quite interesting. Fascinates me that this did and sometimes does still happen.
Re: Does anyone read this rubbish?
God, that's awful.
Re: Does anyone read this rubbish?
The worrying thing is that I think there is probably many more scummers in Bolton nopw then there ever has been before and have been alot of incidents involving Bolton season. It seems that as Bolton as a town gets sh**ter (which I think we all came to the conclusion that it has never ever been as bad as it is now) the more and more scummers we will see in the town and at the footy.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

I read it on holiday last year........it's a bit shite.
Re: Does anyone read this rubbish?
I grew up in Tonge Moor from 1969 up until I moved out of my parent house in 1996. I didn't hang around with any bad lads but I have never heard of the "Tonge Moor Stanley Boys". Maybe I led a sheltered life wrapped up in cotton wool but I would have thought I had heard about their reputation in passing.
Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.
Re: Does anyone read this rubbish?
Personally, it's a bit silly for grown men to go round acting like kids in a playground over football. Now don't get me wrong I love BWFC but I wouldn't have a fight with someone over them. Life's too short
Pfffft.

Re: Does anyone read this rubbish?
I may be wrong but would this be related to Bolton's apparent right wing skin heads ? Bolton seems to have been safe place for fascist loyalist paramilitaries who have been exiled from N.Ireland
Re: Does anyone read this rubbish?
I always thought they were called the tonge moor slashers

Can't abide hoolie-lit. That kind of knobhead got us all treated as scum, and it ended up with people in cattle pens getting crushed to death.

It's not big, it's not clever, and it's not wanted!

Really don't understand the clamour for these 'Guv'nor' type books
... These people don't deserve any kind of glorification.

Re: Does anyone read this rubbish?
Crazy, but nothing new. Back in the sixties when visiting fans were allowed on the embankment things kicked off regularly. Always the same pattern; some pissed-up sixteen year old at the front pushing people around and shouting abuse, somebody'd object and the knucle-draggers piled in and started kicking shit out of everybody. Everton fans were the very worst. Even when they put the fences up between embankment and stands, the chimpanzee cages at Chester Zoo had nothing on the ariel battles on the netting. One nutter I knew from Halliwell had razor blades sewn in the peak of his cap.

Now why would someone from Bristol have such hatred towards Bolton ?

Re: Does anyone read this rubbish?
I stopped reading at "West Houghton - Smallish firm but the lads are game as feck".
What does that even mean?
Seems like a load of rubbish. There's talk of this happening but I go to my fair share of games and don't see any of this going on.... don't we just have a bunch of chavs under the screen?

Re: Does anyone read this rubbish?
We went down there with 50 lads. There was 500 of them and we ran em down the street.
When we next played em they wanted revenge, so they had 73,000. But it's alright, cos we had 14 of our top boys out.
