I'd rather support Bolton than be you.

Re: Wigan
My prediction of Coyle's Wigan being above Bolton at the end of the season came partially true then. Three points ahead with a game in hand, despite a much tougher schedule
It's probably the right decision for them though, so good on Whelan for acting quickly. Coyle wasn't going to get them promoted but with the team they have, they should be in or around the play-off spots at least, so what is the point in waiting? Get rid, move on and try to achieve something this season with a better manager. It looks like that'll be Holloway and he'll probably do a good job with them.

Dissapointingly quick

I'm going to miss a1's pictures!
And SF, you'll do well to explain how your prediction has come true! Coyle's Wigan are going to be on 22 points at the end of the season. Even you must reckon DF will do better than that ?

It has not taken Nixon long to turn on Wigan like he did with us. Expect a load of nasty tweets about the Pie Eaters club and lovely owner.

What a crying shame. I just hope they don't get a good manager in because they have a half decent squad.THE Oracle wrote:I believe Brian Laws is available.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Another club where Nixon's lost the inside scoop. What a tool.
Enoch that would be bonkers, but if anyone's daft enough it's Whelan. Holloway needs to get on the radio with him, throw him a couple of compliments, sorted.
Also agree about the squad. If they go out of Europe and get a decent manager in they could fly up the league.

bobby marts team wasnt great , they got relegated.. add to that the odd coyles cheapo division below type signings and i dont think qpr and them near the top will worry too much...LeverEnd wrote:

it'll take ages to rectify, as it did/is doing here.
LOLoway 's got to get it. for the continued lols
:/
Re: Wigan
Possibly you are right, looking good on paper counts for little in this division unless you've got the right man. They've got the squad potential to do well though.a1 wrote:bobby marts team wasnt great , they got relegated.. add to that the odd coyles cheapo division below type signings and i dont think qpr and them near the top will worry too much...LeverEnd wrote:

As for Holloway, I wouldn't just LOL, I'd definitely ROFL and perhaps even PMSL.

Please stop discounting managers just cos they're sh1te!! The last alternative will be DF and we'll have to get OC back.

Re: Wigan
Dave Whelan live on SKY.. "I didn't actually sack Owen. We had a meeting and I told him I was disappointed with the performance and the team selection. He asked if I wanted him to resign and I said yes"
How the feck is that not sacking him?
"We have to pay his compensation etc."
You must have sacked him then! Tosser!!
Hate the dick. Only last week he was praising Coyle saying he hoped to have him at the club for a long time.

Re: Wigan
There's already 72,514 c**ts in Scunthorpe. One more won't be noticeable. And to keep this on topic there's 317,800 c**ts in Wigan too. Well, minus one since OC left.
