Fulham:whether it be bestial oblivion or some Craven scruple
Well, I fear we will be led into this dark night by Desperate Dougie ... does he have it in him to make us dogs of war ??
The 'Cottage' has rarely been a happy hunting ground for us ... albeit the most agreeable of venues for other reasons. Certainly the only one where you will be allowed access even if you've lost your ticket so long as you speak nicely to the ticket desk and have an attractive brunette on your arm.
Who's going ? Who cares any more ? Who thinks Dougie will, or won't be anager for the match ... or after it maybe ?

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

My feeling is he will be manager for the Fulham game - if only because Gartside and Davies won't want to be seen to tie in to mob rule (aka the will of the fans) after Saturday's demos.
If we lose (and given they've just got their first victory away at Brum, yesterday, we might) he might well be gone before the Bournemouth game.

I suspect less than a point from the next 2 will see him gone. He'll probably scrape a lucky point and the agony will continue. No improvement in his tenure, so how ED and PG might think it might turn around is beyond me.

Beyond the stage of being arsed about games anymore. There is no hope with this team anymore.

A ground where we rarely get owt.
A struggling team just looking for a turn in their luck, who've just fired their manager.
We're going to get dicked 0-2, or 0-3

Can't go. I have a hundred different things I'd rather do and work is being a bitch at the moment.
We'll lose.

Pru and I are going to this one. Strangely looking forward to it.

Know what you mean Mummy. I'm trying to clear some appointments out of the diary so I can go to this one. Not sure whether that's lunacy or rubber-necking.
Is it pay on the gate? I don't think I'm a particularly stupid person but I can't find that information from either the official site or from boltoncentral.co.uk, which appears to still be offering tickets for the Wolves and Chelsea games. Obviously Dougie's not got round to sorting out that part of the off-field etc etc

Know what you mean. There's a special kind of torture in being patronised by a professor of philosophy.William the White wrote:i still want us to win - i have 2 good friends who are Fulham fans, and i do not wish to be receiving texts from them, whether triumphalist or pitying...EverSoYouri wrote:My feeling is he will be manager for the Fulham game - if only because Gartside and Davies won't want to be seen to tie in to mob rule (aka the will of the fans) after Saturday's demos.

In my heart, still want us to win both games and finally 'turn the corner' - not going to happen though, is it?
Will a point at Fulham be enough to keep him in a job? Dread to think what the atmosphere on Saturday will be like if that's how it pans out.

I'm relieved that they won on Saturday..
they'd beat us anyway, but at least we won't be their first 'victim'

Pay on the gate for £30, a £5 increase on tickets bought before the day.

We've sold "just over 400".

Aye, it's the word "Fulham" in the thread title that gives it away.a1 wrote:dont have seventeen degrees in english literature , but i think this is the 2014/15 fulham match thread. have we lost yet ?

I don't care what the result will be. He still has to go. There is no turning back now, and no future with him in charge. One-off results don't change the overall pattern of abject mehness that his teams display.
