All those look positive. Bit worried about midfield unless Spearing and Danns put a real shift in. Beckford's chance to atone?Little Green Man wrote:Lonergan, Herd, Mills, Dervite, Ream, Danns, Spearing, M Davies, Chung-Yong, C Davies, Beckford
So no Moxey, no 4-5-1, no Garvan, no Spearing-Medo job share.

...and no place for Mase, who's scored four of our seven goals this season. Also slightly surprised to see McNaughton sidelined for Herd (whom Dougie said couldn't play two games a week).Little Green Man wrote:Lonergan, Herd, Mills, Dervite, Ream, Danns, Spearing, M Davies, Chung-Yong, C Davies, Beckford

J-Beck's first league start of the season. In fact, only the second time he and Cravies have ever started together. (Can you remember the other?)
Let's see how this does. What it does look like, hopefully, is a team that wants to interchange passes. COYWM.

No mason either. I'd have gone with the Rotherham line up.Little Green Man wrote:Lonergan, Herd, Mills, Dervite, Ream, Danns, Spearing, M Davies, Chung-Yong, C Davies, Beckford

You sure, mate? That one was:LeverEnd wrote:No mason either. I'd have gone with the Rotherham line up.Little Green Man wrote:Lonergan, Herd, Mills, Dervite, Ream, Danns, Spearing, M Davies, Chung-Yong, C Davies, Beckford

Lonergan; Ream, Mills, Dervite, Moxey; Spearing, M Davies, Danns, Pratley; Mason, C Davies
Re: Bournemouth frustration...
Second half I meant, the one that won the game after the subs. But now you point it out I'll swap Moxey for Ream!

If I had to call a game plan from that starting line-up, it might involve Cravies bashing them about, Beckford pulling them out of position, then give young Mason the last 30 minutes. McNaughton's omission is surprising.
A win today - of any kind - keeps us in touch. Makes us look salvageable. COYWM!

Ah right so that wasLeverEnd wrote:Second half I meant, the one that won the game after the subs. But now you point it out I'll swap Moxey for Ream!
Lonergan; Ream, Mills, Dervite, Moxey; Feeney, Spearing, M Davies, Chungy; Mason, C Davies
Fair enough!

Mainly surprised to see beckford in for mason. He'll get a hat trick as well now.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Ah right so that wasLeverEnd wrote:Second half I meant, the one that won the game after the subs. But now you point it out I'll swap Moxey for Ream!

There is a stream showing on first row for this.

Re: Bournemouth frustration...
Let's hope so. Fresh start and that. His is probably the signature recall of this team - Chungy might have felt peripheral but only Mills and Spearing have played more league minutes this season, Beckford's managed just 100 over six appearances - so let's hope he can get the suspicious fans onside. I might have been tempted to pair him with Mason, but Cravies will work hard for us and EverSoYouri's idea sounds reasonable...LeverEnd wrote:Mainly surprised to see beckford in for mason. We seemed to start like Dr Jekkyl but Mr Hyde's creeping back a bit.

And.....a bit of a spark from us then Mills savages one of theirs on the break and we get away with outside the box but acquire card number one. And......and......oooohhh cleared off the line with Lonergan beaten.

Craig Davies getting comments about "enthusiastic" fouls and.........Mark Davies gets poleaxed and.....and.....sounds like a John Wayne film as a cherry departs the fray...

Re: Bournemouth frustration...
Course, if we win this it'll be said we did it against ten men, but that's not our problem. On the other hand.... And......Becfkord nicks it off Davies and shaves a post. "Should have scored" says the man.

Re: Bournemouth frustration...
Bournemouth striker Yann Kermogant sent off. Which is nice, but might mean they settle for a point, and we have to get inventive. Would be nice to score before Eddie Howe gets a halftime chance to reorganise his men.
