Re: Lennon announced on Offish site
SSN showed some of the training session. He was conferring with Andy Hughes and confiscating players' woolly hats. And quite right too, it's not that cold! I think they just missed them getting in the old Sherpa Van minibus and heading for Winter Hill.

Don't they attached them to some sort of bungie rope and have to run against resistance ? Sort of Winter Hill without the sheep.jaffka wrote:what the feck are all those undersized ladies sports bras for?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Arguably the nastiest and most divisive character to ever sit in a dugout in Scotland. Lennon is a monumental prick, who was so scared of an upcoming double header with the Dons he fabricated a load of shit and got Chico to spread it via the BBC, he's never apologised for that despite Dons fans being totally exonerated.
he got his of course when we gubbed you back to back.
Lennon is a monumental prick, I might have mentioned that.

Well, I actually read them! Apart from doing nothing for the stereotype of Angry Scots, seemed to plenty on there sticking up for him! That incident in Aberdeen Lennon came out and said the media had exaggerated it, that it wasn't sectarian, that he wasn't spat on but that a couple of things were chucked at him. Plenty fans on that board said fair enough about Lennon and that the media had blown it all up.
I do worry about his temper, he was a prick as a player (albeit one you wanted in your team) and those incidents with McCoist were nasty, but tbf I'm not sure I'd have coped too well with death threats. Seems proper switched on on telly and said all the right things so far.
