Oi! join the queue!
I'm going in the home end and siting on my hands. Having said that, their attendances have been poor so bound to be some big gaps.

My uncle tried it at Wolves, didn't legislate for my the 14 year-old sister failing to control her glee. She and my younger cousins saved him from a beating if not a vile torrent of abuse before a copper swiftly moved them to the away end.Bruce Rioja wrote:Mate, do you know how difficult that is to do?Bijou Bob wrote:Oi! join the queue!

At the LC semi in Swindon in 95 I managed to wangle some tickets from the club, as I worked there at the time, and they were in the home stand. There were about 15 of us in a line. When Stubbs scored we all celebrated, some old man got his cap nicked by a fan behind and then swiftly given back. Much more genteel lot than Wolves.

I can't make it now anyway, I've promised to marshal the Red Rose X-Country at Leverhulme Park. I'll vent my frustrations by abusing Brother Genshaw if he runsBijou Bob wrote:Im still hoping someone will contact me with an offer and save me a potential beating.

I did have a spare ticket but then thought I didn't really want to spare you a beating.

All clubs do that. You live there FFS! Someone must be able to get you one, then you can sue them when you get twatted.Bijou Bob wrote:Turns out I can only buy a ticket if i have a previous history of ticket purchases with the club. Bugger.

Re: Spare Tickets for Blackpool Games
Took my Uncle (Lifelong Blackpool fan) to the 2-2 game, the one where we pulled it back from 2-0 down with those mint goals. So, he's in a home section with me and couldn't hide his delight when their second went in. This absolute mumper sat at the back of us tried to give him some shit, so I had to advise him. So unnecessary really.

Re: Spare Tickets for Blackpool Games
Back around the late fifties, even before the wire netting shut off the side stands, it was open season on the terraces at Burnden. Home and away mixed in, Everton, Sunderland, Boro, Blackpool..everybody. Amazingly, there wasn't a massive amount of trouble right then, a few scuffles and (the Everton lot apart ,who were just sheer animals, pxssing everywhere and flinging "whizzers" on the ones below) it wasn't the worst of times. Didn't last too long though, hence the need for the netting. The seventies were a whole different ball game.
