It's the best way of stopping Liverpool playing really though, stop-start really doesn't suit them
Re: FA Cup 4th Round - Fields of tw@t'n'cry - Liverpool (a)
playing a bit dangerously here - quite open and allowing sterling lots of space...

Jeez, sounds like it's all Liverpool right now.

GREAT bit of last-ditch defensive harrying there.... dunno how L'pool didn't score - but the commitment and the harrying was ace!
Re: FA Cup 4th Round - Fields of tw@t'n'cry - Liverpool (a)
this is farrrrrrrrrr too open and helter-skelter for my liking!! cripes!

Good stuff. Liverpool slightly on top. Luckily Sterling and Coutinho don't seem to quite be at their best. We're defending well but lacking something up front. Perhaps a little pace.

All a bit like Cambridge and United right now. If we do get a smell of a chance we'll have to take it. Oh for Chungy in there...Funnily, I'm still relying on Pratley to be the star. COME ON..
Maybe a dash into the box at speed might panic somebody....maybe...

Yeah, we seem to be playing a bit too deeply. Probably something to do with having two 36 year olds upfront. I'd take a replay now, as hopefully we could have Cravies, Chungy & Clough back by then (whenever it would be).Vertigo wrote:Good stuff. Liverpool slightly on top. Watching in my local in Switzerland. Jesus that was shit - matter of time until they score. Cant believe we are playing such a high line. Sterling is playing on the shoulder of Mills who is the slowest player on the pitch. Cant string two passes together, giving them far too much time on the ball and we are sloppy and nervous when we have it. Surprised Liverpool aren't pushing more men forward to punish us, sure that will change in the second half. Some great rugby tackles put in by mills and vela. Need a change at half time.
Ps. Gudjohnson looks ill and/or like he's been on the piss!

I wouldn't be betting any money on us finishing this with 11 men on the pitch.
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.
