Heavy smoker, wasn't she?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if a whole load of skeletons come marching out of cupboards into the press in the next few weeks, now he can't be libelled.

Now the fallout from this may be worth watching closely.

No, it's after the next one goes things may get interesting, they actually start getting younger and more quarrelsome.

I feel bad now because I thought he'd died years ago. Will have to watch Abigail's Party again now.

The BBC News page today had these headlines to click onto ....
Read
1: Greece Syriza election win - reaction
2: Greek singer Demis Roussos dies aged 68
Personally, I think that's an over-reaction.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Not the Greek exit they were predicting.

From down under:
Vale
Colleen McCullough - author.
and
Kel Nagle - golfer.

I have not as yet read any of McCullough's works but she was lauded as the Queen of the Quill by those who have.

Kel Nagle was a legend in his lifetime, even when he was playing. As a teenager I kept a scrap book of newspaper clippings relating to Kel and to Peter Thompson as I admired both of them greatly.

All in all a sad day. :(

Farewell Miss Marple (Geraldine McEwan) - wonder if it was natural causes? - guess we'll never know now. RIP.
