For lack of a better match thread title???( I'll be happy to change it) :(

Do I detect a lack of enthusiasm for this one?? (the match - not the thread title). Tower FM said that our record against Fulham over the last 4 matches is scored 0 - conceded 12. I can't remember anything at home but 0-0 draws for years. I'm beginning to lose interest myself - but will still be there.

That massive waste of money from Leeds? Well. he'll rub some cheese on it and get a panfull. Him from Wiggin will do alright an' all!

From my hazy memory, the last time I recall us beating Fulham was in the early stages of a cup match at their place when Danny Guthrie scored a goal.

They are a full-on bogie team.

Well, at least we don't have Danny Murphy or McBride to worry about now. Not that there aren't plenty enough others, mind.

We won away at the Cottage in that cup run no-one talks about anymore, too.

Don't ever remember seeing us beat them at the 'Bok. The year we both went up they played us off the park at our gaff in the most one-sided men-against-boys game I've ever seen. John Collins was untouchable.

When was it, 1998'ish? Us -v- Fulham at the Reebok, them managed by Jean Tigana. I have never seen us so comprehensively bossed by any side anywhere before or since. I don't think we touched the ball all night.

Hoping for better than that tomorrow but I'll be at the Arena in town watching Peter Kay.

2000. But yeah. And (had to google this) they didn't even have Saha who was injured that day! Absolute massacre.

Whatever needs fixing, fix it and get back to onward and upward. A couple of goals and a good result will do wonders for morale. Starting tomorrow will do. Come on Whites, get in there. We're at home, so, a win for us. :oyea:

Bloody Fulham. That 0-2 massacre in 2000, possibly the finest performance I've ever witnessed by an opponent. The 0-0 draw in 1978 that slightly spoiled a wonderful day. That 3-0 gubbing they gave us with the 85 year old Damien Duff tearing us to pieces. The final nail in Dougies coffin. Can we please, for once, give them a good hiding?

I'm not saying it does! I just remember the score. Not that I can remember the game too much. I shall take the more learned members' word for it! :)

I think I was there, bitching and moaning about the cold to GtE and praying for anyone to score so we didn't have to endure extra time - which we got. They ran out of beer at half time and the tube was a mess on the way home, so despite a win it were shit

Sounds dreadful.

I'm still undecided whether to go tonight. Gonna be on my billy-no-mates.

It was. The highlight was GtE being interviewed on tv - Japanese I think. Because of the tube delays I only managed 1 pint prematch as well. I've never seen a decent game against Fulham, so on that basis I'd advise against!

Latest (according to B.N) is nine first team injuries. Wheater and Mills are both doubtful and Craig Davies and Heskey are unlikely to figure before the Forest game. Trotter is out, (nuff said?) and N.L reckoning this is the worst injury scenario he's experienced in management. Seems we might be talking a few unfamiliars in there tonight.
