It's like a pastiche of cheap-looking 60s adventure shows, I guess, but set with a group of spies trying to kill Hitler. It's...crazy. But definitely worth a watch if you like ridiculous comedy. Tis on netflix.
Sounds a bit like Garth Marenghi, I'll check that out.

Edit: LOL!
Definite merenghi vibe.

Ha, guess you watched it then? Only seen the first two episodes.
I did watch the first episode, and completely lost it as soon as that Alsatian started to talk.

Suite Francaise. Beautifully shot with a taut, atmospheric background, I really enjoyed it, although slightly disappointed with the concentration on detail which left for a speedy ending.

Just watching something on Sky about Glenn Hoddle. What a truly exceptional talent he was, chronically underused by England.

this "britains racist election" thing , they never do any "lets see how many people jesse jackson's grandad chopped up for idi amin" or whatever type programmes.

the white devil 's corpse can surely only be dug up so many times.

either that or channel 4 is run by national front types and it's a false flag exercise.

I watched that and found it very interesting and highly relevant to whats going on in British politics.

It's a bit odd that this is what you took away from it.

Last episode of Arthur and George. Not bad and based on a true tale apparently. Good performance from Martin Clunes as Conan Doyle.

Not tonight, but Thursdays. Mrs has been watching 'Banished', on BBC 2. Two episodes in now, written by Jimmy McGovern about convicts (& soldiers), being sent to the new world of New South Wales, Australia. Not a bad programme and I would think something that's right up your street Tango.

Watched the first of the Poldark reboot. Won't be bothering with the rest. Clunking, sentimental, facile rubbish! What are you playing at, Mitchell?!

I don't normally watch Sunday evening telly on the BBC. I was leaned on!

The ginge did seem to have potential, though, I must admit.

it's basically endless shots of poldark riding across the cliff tops on a horse or gazing out to sea... the missus did get quite excited when she heard that the second episode would feature Poldark in the nip... but she was disappointed at what they delivered!

Caught up with Parts 1 & 2. Gritty, to say the least. I'll watch the rest as it comes.
